Well, I can cross one more thing off my “Things to do in Life” list: Hear Patty Loveless sing “Chains” in concert!  Now, I guess I should tell a little bit more than that about the wonderful night I had in Ashland.

Dad and I left the house around 2:15 to head for Ashland, Kentucky.  We drove by way of passing Riverbend, so I would know how to drive there for the next concert on August 9.  We arrived in Ashland around 6:30.  We took forever to find a place to park.  We didn’t really know where to park, and we didn’t want to get towed away—but we eventually found a spot that was actually pretty close to the Paramount.  It was so cool to see the big lit up marquee, with the words “PATTY LOVELESS   SOLD OUT!”
