| We suffered another horrible loss this week. 1/16/08 we had to make the difficult decision to put our beloved Rexy to sleep. For the last 2 years, she has been suffering from some illness that has caused her pain and to lose dramatic amounts of weight. She tried so hard to hide her illness...but eventually she stopped eating, and the pain medicine was not enough to keep her comfortable. She spent her last days constantly in her daddy's arms, surrounded by a loving flock that will miss her eternally. But we had to give her the gift of freedom from her pain. She was a true fighter...The queen of the house is now with the king (Talouse) in heaven...and we all miss her terribly. In a few weeks, we will get results from her necropsy and find out that was causing her to be so sick. |
