General - Justin returns to the Royals program after taking a year off. He is presently in his third year of school with two years of eligibility remaining. Justin's strengths are speed and tough defence which should help him fit in to the team's fast paced style of play.

2000-2001 - Saw increased minutes from his freshman season at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Continued presence as a defensive stopper.

1999-2000 - Played limited minutes for the Royals as a true freshman. Contributed with tough defence when called upon.

High School - While at Unionville High School in Toronto, Justin average 11 points, 3 assists, and 7 steals per game. Helped team to a 15-5 mark and a playoff birth as a senior. Was selected as MVP of the Air Canada Centre Church Tournament.  

Personal - Psychology Major ... Born Justin Allen on April 22, 1979, in Toronto, Ontario ... plays the drums, piano, and trumpet ... parents: Byron and Andeline Allen ... brother Julian (21).
General - Brent is currently in his third season with the Royals with one year of eligibility remaining. A quick player who runs the floor exceptionally well, has the abilty to finish on the break as well as hit big shots from the perimeter. He will be asked to provide a spark off the bench and contribute in the scoring column.
High School - Was first team All-City at Elmvale District High School in Elmvale, Ontario ... Averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game as a senior ... Earned team MVP honours in his last year.
Personal - Business Major ... Born Brent Douglas Minty on January 10, 1982
in Elmvale, Ontario ... enjoys sports and music ... parents: Morley and Dianne Minty ... has 2 brothers: Jason (25), Aaron (23), and a sister: Michelle (16). 
2001-2002 - Saw action in 9 games for the Royals in  the 2001-2002 season ... Averaged 0.7 points,  0.5 assists, and 1 steal per game as a sophomore.
2000-2001 - Saw limited minutes for the Royals in freshmen season ... played mostly shooting guard ... contributed with good hustle and tough defence.
General - Victor Joins the Redeemer program for the 2002-2003 season after transferring from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He currently has four years of eligibility remaining. Victor brings leadership at the point guard position as well as the ability to score from the perimeter and off the dribble.

2001-2002 - (at Wilfrid Laurier): Victor attended Wilfrid Laurier University but did not play basketball for the Hawks therefore retaining all of his eligibility.

High School - Earned First Team All-City honours while leading the Holy Cross Raiders (St. Catharines, On) to a school record 35-6 season and a third place finish in the O.I.T. Tournament in his senior year. Averaged 20.2ppg, 11 apg, and 6.1 rbg ... shot 45% from floor, 51% from behind the arc, and 91% from the line. Was named to 5 All-Tournament teams as a senior including the St.Catharines Standard Tournament, the Welland Tribune, and the Ontario Invitational Tournament.

Personal - Business Major ... Born Victor Brian Finora on January 8, 1981 in St. Catharines, Ontario... parents: Brian and Monique Finora ... sister Nathalie (19).
General - Mark joins the Royals for the 2002-2003 season after having spent time at Seneca College. He brings toughness and a good work ethic to the program. Mark will be used mainly at the point and will be asked to contribute solid minutes off the bench. 
Personal - Business Major ... Born Mark Peter Speelman on December 24, 1982 in Rexdale, Ontario ... while at Toronto District Christian High School was an honour roll student and the recipient of the Pfizer Consumer Group Award ... parents: John and Grace Speelman ... has 3 sisters: Jessica (22), Jeanette (21), Carolyn (18), brother: David (17).
General - James joins the Redeemer program after transferring from OCAA Western Division rival Niagara College. James brings tremendous leaping ability and good hands around the basket as well as an ability to block shots. He should make an impact immediately in an undersized Royals frontcourt.
2001-2002 (at Niagara College) - Saw action in 8 games for the Knights ... averaged 0.3 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game ... blocked 9 shots, good enough for fourth best on the team. 
High School - Helped Governor Simcoe High School to 3A City Championship and third place in the Southern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association in junior and senior years.  Average 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks per game as a senior. Was named to two All-Tournament teams in his final year. 
Personal - History Major ... Born James Lambert Sikkema on January 6, 1982 in Hamilton, Ontario ... parents: Dave and Anita Sikkema ... has 3 brothers: Dave, Joe, Mitch and 1 sister: Christine. 
General - Dustin comes to Redeemer from a strong high school program at London District Christian Secondary School. He brings size and athleticism to the Royals' backcourt. Although a true freshman, Dustin will be looked to for scoring and rebounding. 
High School - Lead London District S.S. to a 20-4 record and a fourth place finish at ofssa in his final year. Averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists per game as a senior. First player in LDCSS history to score more than 1800 points.
Personal - Physical Education Major ... Born Dustin Vanhouwelingen on August 22, 1984 in St. Thomas, Ontario. parents: John and Wilma Van Houwelingen ... brothers Jesse (22), and Spencer (15).
