"Throwback" is the Bronx's premeir R&B band. Originally called Ruby Stone the band was started in 2002 by guitarist Craig Tindal. This 6 piece unit consists of Ronald "Big Daddy" Frazier on drums, Raymond "Kool Aid" Anderson on bass and vocals, Elina Brown on vocals, Chantler "Sexy Chocolate" Townsend on vocals, Lillian Garcia on vocals, and Craig "Who?" Tindal on guitar and vocals. The band plays a variety of� R&B covers from the 70's to the present as well as their own original material. You can hear snippets of our soon to be released original material. Chantler sings "Are you a Lady?" , and the instrumental "Blu Groove" which were written and produced by Craig. A CD will be avaiable at thier upcoming shows. Throwback will be going back in the studio soon to continue work on their independent release "Ghetto Jazz". In the meantime they are in rehearsals preparing to make the rounds of� NYC bars & clubs. They are also available for weddings, parties, corporate events and more.
