eight is great!
months, that is

i'm almost a year old! mommy and daddy just had birthdays and i can't wait to have my first! here are my stats:
weight-21 lbs.
height-28 in. long

likes:
blue's clues, rolling on my belly immediately after my diaper is removed
dislikes:
blue's room, shoes/socks on my right foot

i greet my daddy in the morning with "hello da dee," and am trying very hard to say "go gators." (mommy and daddy get very upset when i say "uga" for some reason...)
now that i have mastered pulling myself up, i have gotten more daring and curious... i even pull myself up using a drawer handle, open the drawer (while standing) and pull whatever i can out of the drawer.
i have my third tooth growing in.

nine months
i am now 21 lbs, 4 oz and 29 in long. according to my doctor, i'm in the 75th percentile. i have my fourth tooth coming in. i can climb stairs with ease and like to race crawl around the house. i am also getting much better at balancing and can't wait until i can walk on my own. oh, and mommy's team will beat daddy's in fantasy foosball.

ten months
today (oct.4), my seventh tooth broke through. i like to eat my veggie crackers and wagon wheels all the time. i like to get in trouble. i have even learned to ignore "hunter, no." "uh oh" is my new favorite word.
i am 22 lbs., 12 oz. i took my first steps all by myself on wednesday(oct.6)! (i have not performed this feat for my father yet because the pressure is too great)

eleven months
my granddaddy (i renamed him his first day here--"ga da dee") visited this week and we had so much fun. i showed him all the things i like to do. i'm very excited for my first birthday party!
