The episode starts off with the group waiting for Misty to show up. Ash and Brock are excited but Max and May are just sitting by the lake waiting to meet Misty. Pikachu notice Misty and Misty runs to them and says hi! They greet each other and Max and May meet Misty. May loves her Togepi and wants to know what it is and looks it up on her pokedex. She shows them her invitation to the Togepi Festival and Ash starts to go in, but Misty tells him it�s for her. Two mysterious people dressed in Togepi out-fits greet her at the door and drag her in the warehouse. The group runs after her, but the doors shut and lock. The two mysterious people drag Misty into a blimp and the blimp takes off. Meowth is steering it and Ash and the group run after it and grab a hanging rope on the blimp. The group gets in the blimp as it goes in the desert. The two mysterious people are revealed to be Team Rocket. The blimps goes faster and faster and the group is shaken. The blimp finally lands in a village that looks like an odd kingdom.
A girl is watching the blimp land and Team Rocket dressed in the togepi outfits tell her to get out as the group yells to her and she is relieved, they run to her and yells at Team Rocket dressed up. Misty asks the two who they are. They go into the motto and reveal themselves to them. They say that they want her togepi. Meowth starts to attack, but is taken by Hanzou. James tells him that they got the togepi there. Ash tells him that he can�t have togepi. Hanzou then tells him he must have togepi. Misty yells at him and says it�s hers. Hanzou then commands his Shedinja to use solar-beam. It blasts them and leaves a hole in the ground. Then his two ninjask come out and Misty is terrified. May asks why and Brock says she�s scared of Bug-pokemon. Ash then tells May and Max to bring Misty to a safe place while Ash and Brock battle. Hanzou then commands his ninjask to use shadow ball and Pikachu and Mudkip counter it with Water Gun and Thunder-bolt. There is an explosion in the middle and May, Max and Misty run off. Hanzou sends Shedinja after them.
The three are running down a hill into a garden-maze and they see Shedinja and May looks it up in her pokedex. Misty is scared at first, but she shakes it off and sends Corsola out and has it use spike cannon. It bounces off Shedinja and they are surprised at this. Shedinja powers up a solar-beam and fires it, they get blasted and Misty loses togepi in this. A girl dressed in a blue-dress is in her garden and finds togepi and is excited. She quickly tells her mother about this and she is also excited.
The smoke clears from the previous battle with Ash Brock and Hanzou and pikachu uses thunder on a ninjask and mudkip uses water gun on a ninjask. Ash falls in a hole, but he holds on to the edge. They both jump in the hole.
The girl from before is playing with togepi and the king comes in and looks at togepi and is also happy, the girl then hugs togepi. Just then Misty, May and Max come in, while Misty is yelling. The girls mother block Misty from coming near the girl and togepi. Misty explains what happened and that togepi is hers and the girl is sad. Hanzou then comes in and Misty yells at him. Ash and Brock then come in and Ash yells at Hanzou, but Misty tells him to stop. Togepi is fighting in the girl�s arms. Misty then gets Togepi back and they talk to the king and queen about Hanzou. The girl and her mother tell them about the legend of Togepi. Brock then takes the girl�s hands and is in love, again!!! Misty then pulls his ear and away from the girl. May and Max are terrified.
Hanzou then sends out his ninjask to attack the group. The group is now leaving on a blimp when the kingdom has an illusion of itself upside down. Togepi starts floating to it when the shedinja comes and powers up a solarbeam and Misty grabs it away. It fires its solarbeam at them and they run away, luckily no one hit. Hanzou and Team Rocket are there and Hanzou orders shedinja to use solarbeam and Ash tells pikachu to use thunderbolt, the two attacks collide as the episode ends. |
