Appearance:
A young appearing man, fit and active, he is of medium height and build. He bears himself with confidence wherever he goes, smiling cock-sure Absalom, son of Julian Prince of Amber.
Absalom�s face is clean shaven allowing a clear view of his sharp
almost ascetic features, a hard face but not unhandsome, his complexion is very pale, anaemic seeming even, his shoulder length hair is the colour of mahogany, he wears it unbound, his eyes a blue so pale they almost appear to have no iris, a web of fine lines about the eyes betoken a jovial demeanour.
His choice of apparel is usually somewhat elegant and perhaps a tad flamboyant in style if not in colour for he generally wears various shades of brown, grey and black, with a touch of colour to accent things.
Potted History:
Absalom�s mother was a shadow dweller named Serina, from far in shadow, a place close to Chaos yet far enough removed to be beyond that place�s immediate influence. Shadow Mai-Len, a place of magic and intrigue, golden skies and wild tropical jungles.
[Note: I have Serina as a Chaosian, Absalom is unaware of this]
Serina was a great sorceress of Mai-Len, respected, fear. A beautiful, fiery woman. She came to Julian�s attention almost immediately; apparently they were initially at odds but eventually become lovers and allies.
Absalom was raised predominantly by his mother. From her he learned sorcery (and conjuration). Infrequent visits from his father heralded trips of exploration within Mai-Len and in nearby shadow. It was from
Julian that Absalom gained his love of travel.
Absalom spent around forty years exploring and making a name for himself in Mai-Len before Julian came for him, it was then that he explained his true heritage. Julian took Absalom to Tir-na Nog�th where he saw his son through the Pattern. Julian gave Absalom some instruction in shadow manipulation before setting him free to travel as he saw fit, but warned him against travelling to Amber, explaining the family�s penchant for in-fighting.
Absalom has just lately arrived in Amber, he travelled for around 150 years subjective time before doing so (making him around 200 years old).
Absalom met Random a week or so before his death.
PERSONALITY

Public: Confident, a smile is never far away, even in battle. A joke or acerbic comment is always ready.
Private: Quite arrogant actually, but tinged with uncertainty, he has met few who can better him but then he has met few Amberites.
2.Public: Absalom tries to avoid displays of strong emotion such as anger or fear, but annoyance, distaste and impatience are no strangers.
Private: Anger is pointless, it takes focus away and makes one act rashly, and annoyance is natural given the limitations of others. Fear though, one of life�s little paradoxes, as it weakens so does it strengthen.
3.Public: Extremely competitive, what is life without competition, but he does like to win!
Private: He is definitely competitive, and hates to lose. To lose is would suggest that he is not as good as someone else, a ludicrous assertion.
4.Public: A warrior, and a mage, intellect often vies with the skills of the hand and eye in his life.
Private: All part of the game. Be the best, be the winner. And power, how to attain that sweetest of goals?
5.Public: A romantic, and sometimes moved by the plight of others, this is erratic however since he can also be quite callous.
Private: Actually quite pragmatic, but enjoys acting the gentle warrior on occasion. Quite ruthless in reality.
6.Public: Prefers to act alone since much of his life has been spent fending for himself.
Private: Why act with others, they will only let you down, if you are forced to do so, make sure that the groups do as you want, that's the best way.
7.Public: Loyal to close friends, but honour is for fools.
Private: Doesn't flinch from cheating, but will not betray a friend.
