Circular Self-Referential Fragments 2.10.06 I Red and white chairs and bowls surround a tree with leathery leaves. II I look out my window at the cottonwood trees and I see the leaves shaking and the twigs breaking off in the furious wind which occurs every morning. III Around here the sun rises early in June and I can't get the sleep that I want so I read in the mornings. IV I read "War And Peace" in one sitting today. Late that night I was compelled to place small bowls and chairs around my cottonwood tree. Only then could I fall asleep peacefully. Back |
