Like your site - it seems that the Patrol is the Australian Jeep. My lwb wagon has 6" lift, 33" Baja Claws on bead-locks, (Patrols weigh 2.5 tons) 4.2 litre Diesel. Not as extreme as your rigs but lots of fun. Mainly used at 7000 acre off-road park called Emu Creek. This place is awesome.

On board air, Tera low 4 to 1 dana 300 tranfer case. 4' lift and 33" tires(soon to be 35") and a T5 rans.(soon to be NP435 or SM420) I have the SM420 in the shed but don't have the adapters as yet.

Up until six weeks ago I owned a '65 F250 4x4HD. It was lost when a Red light runner broadsided me in the City. I survived but 'Junior' did not. It was hit so hard it blew the rivits off of most of the front suspention and bent the frame. If it passes smo I'm going to by a '84 Fullsize Bronco. I thought that your web sight was by far the best site I've come across so far. I never got my '65 into shape for safe off roading but the Bronco is set up for medium off roading. The pictures you presented looked like the kind of 4-wheeling that I would ike to do. What clubs can I contact for more info. Best if luck in the future and watch out for those deep puddles. Eric

Hi Diane, Just missed you in Hollister...my club was down there on the 27th..saturday. Would love to talk to you about doing the Rubicon in your full size ford. I'm adding full size one ton axles to my ScoutII and am concerned about the added width. Some ppl say it will be difficult to do the Dusey Ershim Trail and the Rubicon with the 'new" axles width from a Military 80's 1-ton Chev. I'm not sure of my E-mail address yet.. just started a new job here in Palo Alto CA, and am not set up yet.. will be soon. I noticed you have some great links. I really enjoyed them and noticed that the locations that you mention in your travels are some of the same places I have been.. I really did'nt buy my F350 crew cab diesel to play in the mud or off road (way too big) but I am thinking about buying another jeep (pre 70s) or a land cruiser just for running what trails are left. My brother has 2750 a res in Napa with about 17 miles of dirt roads and I also have access to about 15,000 acres east of Morgan Hill CA. Well, I had better get back to work..I hate working Saturdays, but new trucks don't come cheap. Again, you have a great page here, and rea ly neat pictures.. Ilike your page although I haven`t been through it all. That`s a good lookin` f-250 for a twenty year old truck. They are tuff!! My truck is a farm truck that pulls alot of trailers. We have horses too but I`m not into them, never had the patience. I use my 4-wheeler to herd cattle. Keep your lug nuts tight

Hello from Santa Fe, New Mexico!!! I think you home page is "Great"! I especially like the fact that you're a Ford Fan. You really have a great looking truck...I feel the same way about mine as I think you do...I would never sell it. I have a 3" Rancho Front suspension and 2" 'SoftRide' rear from SkyJacker. The meats are 32x11.5R15's BFGoodrich All Terrians. They work well for my needs. The power comes from a 390cui...Edelbrock manifold and 600cfm Carb. I look forward to visiting your web page for future pictures of your truck stuck. .ha ha...just kidding. Ford owners should always remember, "The Best never Rest when your in your Ford".
