The camera cuts to the announcer’s table with Trent and John.

Ladies and Gentlemen, over the past number of weeks, we have watched as a number of UWA wrestlers competed in a number of different events and activities.

It was the Trinatas Open, and it was designed to determine who would be the #1 contender for the United Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Championship.

On the Rontron a number of scenes begin to play out, telling the tale of the Trinatas Open. It shows Trinatas appearing in the ring, calling out the would-be contestants. It shows Ringo being the one being left without a partner, eliminating him as a competitor. It shows the address Trinatas made, showing that Nicky Mills lost at making the right picks. Next it shows the hellish structure known simply as the Cathedral. It then shows the events of that match, as Mike Furious, Cortez Prodigy, Spitfly and Doc Placebo’s minion battle it out, with Furious coming out victorious.

It then goes to the match that would decide the number 1 contender. It shows a graphic of the match, with Furious, Freedom Morelez, Ten Minute Major and X-Kalibur displayed in each corner. The events of the match play out, with Morelez no-showing, Furious leaving the ring so that Xkal can win, and the battle between Major and Xkal. It goes into slow-motion as it shows Trinatas go into the ring and hit X-Kalibur with the Fires of Gehenna. Major picks up the pin-fall, and he has his arm raised in victory, shortly before hit with a Fires of Gehenna himself.

After weeks of speculation of who would emerge, the obvious underdog was the man left standing.

Now he gets the dream of a life-time: another shot at the World title, in the main event of Injustice for All.

The camera starts to pan around the stadium, showing the fans packed in tight. They have been hyped for most of the show, and they are antsy for what is next to come.

Jamie Welsh stands in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand.

JW: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the main event of the evening, and is for the UWA World Heavyweight Championship!

The crowd gives a big pop.

Now, the rules for the match are as follows: there is no count-out. There are no rope breaks. And this match is a best of three falls match. Now, for the competitors.

“Downfall” by Trust Company starts to play, and the fans rise up on their feet, giving one of the loudest pops of the evening.

Hailing from Toronto Ontario, he stands 5 foot 9 and weighs in at 199 pounds. He is the challenger……… TEN MINUTE MAJOR!

10 Minute Major steps out from behind the curtain, bringing about an even louder cheer. He walks down to the ring, slapping hands with fans along the way. He gets into the ring and poses in each corner for pictures.

He has the whole country behind him in this match.

Yes, but will it be enough?

Major’s music fades out, and 10MM starts to pace around the ring. Then, “These Filthy Hands” by Mushroomhead begins to play. The children’s voices come on as the house lights dim. Then the piano starts to play, and red pyro starts to fall like snow down from the top of the Rontron.

JW: Coming to the ring next, he is the current reigning and defending World Heavyweight Champion. Standing 6 foot 2 and weighing in at 225 pounds…………….. TRINATAS!

Trinatas, The One with Many Names, walks out onto the stage with the World title around his waist. He lets the red sparks float down on him as the fans boo with their hearts content. He then walks purposefully down to the ring.

He takes the steps in and hands the world title to the referee for the match, Jerry Usher.

Trinatas looks as focused as ever.

So does Ten Minute Major.

On one side of the ring stands Trinatas. On the other side: 10 Minute Major. Between them, the ref lofts the World Heavyweight Championship. Their goals. Their dreams. Their destinies.

That’s what it’s all about Trent. All the marbles.

You have the manipulative World Champion, going against the perennial underdog of a challenger. Trinatas as been at the top of the world before, he has headlined many Pay Per Views, but this is a new playing field for Ten Minute Major.

Never before has he had so many people watching him. It’s the make or break match of his career.

And if you ask his friends, he’s more than ready.

The referee goes to hand the belt to the time keeper, but Trinatas calls for it. Usher hands the title belt to the champion, then calls for the bell.

*Ding Ding Ding*

Both men walk to the middle of the ring and get into a staring contest, with the taller Trinatas looking down at his challenger in 10 Minute Major. The two men begin to talk, and slowly Trinatas raises the title belt for the world to see. The crowd starts to get anxious.

These people are just waiting for something to happen.

You can just feel the excitement going through this building.

The two men slowly back away, and Trinatas holds the title in the direction of Jerry Usher. The ref takes the title and passes it to the time keeper, who brings it over to his small table.

The two wrestlers circle around each other, moving around the outside of the ring. They then run in and go for an elbow tie-up. Both men fight for control, but neither can. They break the hold, backing towards their corners, working out their shoulders.

They then move to the center then, arms ready to attack. Trinatas dives forward, looking for a single leg takedown, but Major gets out of the way. Major then goes for it himself and grabs onto Trinatas’s leg. The two men twist and turn around in the ring, with Major trying to get Trinatas down to the ring. They go back and forth like two amateur wrestlers, with Trinatas reversing to be the one in control. Major manages to get a reversal himself, but Trinatas is smart enough to scurry out of the way.

Great display by both men.

Although they are cruiserweights, both are showing great mat wrestling ability.

The wrestlers circle each other again. They run in, and Trinatas gets Major into a side headlock. Major turns into it and elbows the World Champion in the face, before grabbing onto his arm and taking him down with an armbar takedown. Trinatas catches Major’s head in a leg scissors.

Neither man giving their opponent an inch.

10MM tries to bridge out of it, but Trinatas puts more pressure onto the move. Major then flips up out of the move. The two men get up and Major goes for a punch, but Trinatas ducks under the punch and grabs the Canadian from behind. He then lifts Major off his feet and brings him down to the mat. He then locks in a front headlock.

Major turns from side to side, but Trinatas keeps a strong grip on 10MM’s head. Major pushes himself up, first onto his hands and knee, then onto his feet. He punches Trinatas in the gut once, twice, causing the champion to loosen his grip slightly. He then turns around and take Trinatas down to a sitting position with a snapmare.

Then Major does a soccer-like kick, hitting the champion right in the back.

Major is matching Trinatas move for move.

He’s not going to back down in this match.

Trinatas quickly get up to a vertical base, holding the small of his back. He then mockingly claps for Major, but the Canadian doesn’t care. He keeps his eyes on his opponent.

The two men look to go for a knuckle lock, but Trinatas breaks the hold and does a single leg take down on Major. He then does a single leg, trying to hyper-extend the knee. Major manages to remove the upper leg, and puts it behind his head, locking in a partially Sicilian Crab (Brock Lock). The crowd cheers for the smart reversal.

These two men could go back and forth for hours.

It’s only a matter of time before this match opens up though.

Trinatas reaches forward and punches Major in the head, forcing him to break the hold. Both men get up.

And Trinatas slaps Major across the face. The crowd boos the champion’s choice of offense.

Total disrespect from the champion there.

You think he respects things in the first place?

Major holds his jaw, smiling slightly. He turns towards Trinatas, and tackles him to the ground to a big crowd pop. The challenger then starts to throw punches into the head and face of his opponent. He pulls Trinatas up and whips him into the ropes, but Trinatas reverses, sending Major running. 10MM bounces off the ropes and comes back with a flying forearm smash, knocking the champion down.

Major’s on a roll.

Trinatas pushes himself up to one knee and Major runs up and hits him with a Shinning Wizard. The force of the move knocks the champion onto the ring apron.

Trinatas grabs onto Major from behind and lifts him for a suplex, but Major grabs onto the top rope. Trinatas drops Major down onto his feet. Major then back elbows Trinatas in the face, then grabs onto Trinatas’s left arm and steps between the top and middle rope onto the apron. He then gets back into the ring under the middle rope.

Major then kicks Trinatas in the gut twice before letting go of the arm and slinging over the top rope, coming down in a leg drop on the arm.

Major’s found his weak point in Trinatas.

He could take away some of Trinatas’s effectiveness.

That’s what I meant fool.

Major gives Trinatas some space to get up as the champion holds his arm, stretching it out. They meet in an elbow-tie up, which Trinatas wins by putting Major into a side headlock. He locks the hold in tightly, not giving Major any room. 10MM backs Trinatas into the ropes and pushes him off. Trinatas comes back and both go for a shoulder block, but neither go down.

Now the fun begins.

Major goes for a punch, but Trinatas ducks around behind. He does a release German suplex, but Major lands on his feet. 10MM does a leg trip and goes for an elbow drop, but Trinatas rolls out of the way. Both men get up and Trinatas does an arm drag. Major gets up and gives Trinatas an arm drag of his own.

Ten Minute Major goes for a spinning heel kick, but Trinatas ducks under it before giving his challenger a flip whip. Both men stand, and Trinatas goes for a discus punch, but Major ducks under it before giving the champion a flip whip of his own.

When the Champion turns around, 10MM jumps onto his shoulders and goes for a hurricanrauna. Trinatas pushes him off into the air, and Major lands on his feet. Major goes for a Fireman’s carry, but Trinatas lands on his feet.

Both men get up with balled fists. But they back off in another stalemate. The crowd rumbles in enjoyment at the display.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that before in my life.

Neither have I.

I didn’t ask for your opinion.

Well I gave it anyways.

Oh who’s authority?

My own.

You have as much authority as a bucket of crab apples.

Trinatas backs into a corner, taking a small breather. Major doesn’t give him time to come up with another move, as he runs right at the champion. Trinatas pushes him up and over, but the Canadian lands on his feet. Trinatas gets a punch blocked before taking a forearm to the face. He stumbles away towards the middle of the ring. When he turns around Major does a springboard dropkick, knocking Trinatas onto the apron.

Trinatas starts to get up onto his feet, but Major does a baseball slide that knocks the champion’s feet out from under him and causes him to catches his chin on the ring apron.

The champ is in trouble.

This match is a best of three falls.

Still, it’s hard to claw back from being down a fall. He has to pin Major twice while he can’t be pinned any more.

Trinatas pushes himself up onto his feet. Major keeps an eye on him, and when the time is right he slings himself over the top rope lands on Trinatas’s shoulders before taking him down with a hurricanrauna.

Major gets up and slaps hands with some of the eager fans. He then motions for people at one end of the ringside area to move out of the way. He then grabs Trinatas and pulls him up, but the champion responds with a thumb to the eye. 10MM stumbles away, holding his face. Trinatas grabs into Major and throws him into the barricade. Major flips over, and his right leg strikes the barricade awkwardly.

Major rolls around, holding his leg in pain.

Didn’t take long for Trinatas to take control once again.

That’s why he’s the champ.

The One with Many Names takes a few seconds to catch his breath before returning to the task at hands. He pulls 10MM up, but Major grabs onto Trinatas around the waist and falls backwards, causing to hit the barricade with his upper chest.

Desperation move by the challenger.

10MM gets up and pulls Trinatas to his feet. He then rolls him into the ring before following in after him.

Major pulls Trinatas up, but Trinatas responds with a boot to the gut, followed by a snap suplex. He gets up before going for a lateral press.

1…

Major matrix’s out, and when Trinatas stands up he catches the champion with a spinning heel kick. Instead of going for a pin, he goes to the top rope.

Major’s going high-risk.

Like he always does.

Trinatas sees Major’s plans are quickly rolls to the outside of the ring. The crowd boos.

There’s the experience of Trinatas taking effect.

Trinatas waits for Major to get off the top turnbuckle before cautiously getting back into the ring. The two meet in the middle of the ring, in an elbow-tie up. Major is victorious in putting Trinatas into a side headlock. Trinatas backs Major towards the ropes and pushes him off. On the rebound Major knocks the champ down with a shoulder block, but Trinatas quickly flips back up. Trinatas then bounces off the ropes and comes back, knocking Major down with a shoulder block.

Major then flips up onto his feet.

Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

It’s not to imitate; he’s playing one-upmanship.

The two superstars get into a punching match.

MAJOR!
TRINATAS!
MAJOR!
TRINATAS!
MAJOR!
TRINATAS!
MAJOR!
TRINATAS!
MAJOR!
TRINATAS!
TRINATAS!
TRINATAS!

Trinatas pulls Major up and throw him over the top rope. Major grabs onto the top rope and goes to skin the cat, but Trinatas connects with a dropkick to the back of Major’s head, knocking the Canadian forward into the steel rail.

The champion has established himself now.

Trinatas steps out onto the apron, hopping down onto the floor. He pulls Major up and whips him towards the steel rail flanking the entrance ramp. Major slides under the ramp, emerging unscathed.

Trinatas charges at him, forcing Major to go for a superkick. Trinatas catches it, but fails to catch the enziguri that hits him in the side of the head. Trinatas stumbles towards the ramp before going down to one knee. Major takes a few seconds for a breather before stepping over the barricade. 10MM then runs forward and grabs onto Trinatas’s head before taking him down with a bulldog.

And that’s no normal bulldog either. That’s onto those thin mats at ringside.

Trinatas could be busted open right now.

Major gets up and retreats into the ring. Trinatas rolls over and reveals that he is without obvious injury to his face. He checks for himself before starting to get up. He stands unsteadily, still reeling from the bulldog. He turns towards the ring.

Just in time to see Major do a suicide corkscrew flip dive over the top rope. He takes the champion, but lands awkwardly on his injured leg. Both men lay on the ground, Trinatas laid out while Major holds his leg in pain.

Major could have lost more than he gained with that move.

That’s how he wrestles though. He lives by the book.

What book?

Pardon?

What book?

Book? Who said anything about a book?

You’re hopeless.

Major gets up, noticeably limping. He pulls Trinatas up, but the Champion comes back with a European Uppercut.

I thought he was Russian.

Trinatas then grabs onto Major and whips him into the steel steps. 10MM collides knee first and flips over them.

Trinatas goes over to the Canadian and pushes him into the ring. He follows him inside. He pulls Major up and slams him down with a scoop slam. He then goes for a pin.

Why did he do that scoop slam?

I don’t know. Why don’t you ask him?

That shot barely even fazed him.

Major looks up with a concerned face due to his ineffective shot to the head. He gets himself up onto his lone foot and starts to hop backwards towards a corner. He then holds himself up as he starts to kick away at Trinatas’s face. It takes 3 hard shots before Trinatas lets go of the foot. A double kick to the face causing him to stumble towards the middle of the ring.

Both men get up. Trinatas misses with the clothesline, and when he turns around Major boots him in the gut and plants him with a hard DDT. Major is too winded to capitalize, and he lies on the mat drawing in air.

Both men down.

Major just hit a high-impact move, but he’s been worn down too much to be able to capitalize on this opportunity.

Major reaches the ropes and looks to the ref for help, but there is nothing Usher can do.

Major forgot that there’s no rope breaks in this match.

Yeah, and he chose the stipulation too.

Major starts to pull his body off the ground by grabbing onto the ropes. Trinatas realizes this and pulls him towards the middle of the ring again. There, he shifts around so that he has one knee on the back of Major’s head, pulling the knee at an almost sickening angle.

Finally, Major taps out.

He had no choice.

Usher forces Trinatas to break the hold and tells him to go to his corner. Usher then helps 10MM back towards his corner.

JW: The winner of the first fall….TRINATAS!!!

Either way the champion is in a lot of trouble right now.

Major is still in a rut though, being down 1 fall to none.

Major gets up onto his feet and limps over to Trinatas. He grabs onto the injured arm and jerks it around a couple times before doing an arm drag, which he links into an armbar.

Both of these men are pushing their opponent to the limit.

Whoever wins this match will have truly deserved it.

Unless Major loses two falls to none. Then he’ll be a joke.

That’s a matter of opinion.

Why didn’t he go straight for the pin?

He’s a high-flyer; it’s all they know.

Major sees his chance. He jumps off in a Shooting Star Press, jumping farther than a man with an injured knee should be able to jump. He comes down on Trinatas’s shoulders, grabbing onto his head and planting him with a spectacular DDT. The crowd goes crazy.

Crowd: Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t!

Major hooks Trinatas’s leg.

The fans begin to boo the outcome, but that quickly changes to cheers. Massive cheers.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is without a doubt one of the best matches I have witnessed.

Major came within an inch of winning, but it was not to be this night.

I think he’ll earn the respect of the locker room after this one.

Trinatas stands in the corner, recuperating. Major starts to get up with the refs help. As he does so the fans give the loudest cheers of the whole evening, respecting how much work he put into the match.

Major gets to his feet, and see Trinatas still in the corner. He watches the champion as he makes his way to the ropes.

Suddenly, Trinatas gets his feet pulled out from under him as another man gets into the ring behind Major.

It’s the Legend Killers! X-Kal and Furious are attacking Major and Trinatas.

Furious goes right after Major, pummeling him with vicious right hands. Xkal, on the outside, pulls Trinatas into the ring post, nutting him.

Xkal then gets into the ring and starts the double team on Major.

Someone stop them.

The two legend Killers grab Major and whip him into the ropes. On the rebound they hit a hard double clothesline. Then, Major’s partner Doc Placebo and another man start running down to the ring. Placebo knocks X-Kal to the outside before going after Furious.

Is that DuVall?

I don’t know. It could be.

Trinatas starts to recover and go after the Legend Killer.

Another man runs down to the ring, chair in hand.

It’s Dahrkov!

Dahrkov slides into the ring and looks ready to hit either Doc Placebo or Trinatas. But he pauses in indecision. Xkal then climbs back into the ring.

Dahrkov then turns and nails X-Kal with the chair, right to the cranium.

What the hell!!!!!

Dahrkov turns towards Placebo and Trinatas, and they all smile. Dahrkov then helps the three men take out Furious.

Major, who had rolled to the outside, climbs back into the ring with a hockey stick. He gets up and swings the hockey stick at Furious’s head. Furious collapses as the Hockey Stick has a large crack in it.

Placebo and Dahrkov pull X-Kal up and help Trinatas in giving him a Fires of Gehenna, right onto the steel chair. DuVall then hops out of the ring and scrimmages around under the ring.

Did Dahrkov just turn on the Legend Killers?

He did. What’s the meaning behind this?

DuVall returns to the ring with a box and a large folded piece of fabric. Dahrkov and Placebo rolls Furious so that they are lying side by side. Trinatas then unfolds the fabric, revealing it to be an American Flag. He then drapes it over the fallen Legend Killers.

Major takes the box and opens it up, passing out the T-shirts. Some of the fans recognize them and start to boo. Others recognize them and cheer. But most boo, loudly.

Oh my god…

It’s the International Incident! Trinatas brought back the International Incident!

And look at the power they have! They have the World Champion, the Tag Team Champions, the Hardcore Champion and the #1 contender for the United States Championship.

How long have they been planning this? What are their goals this time?

I don’t know, but this can’t be good. International Incident is back, and they’re pretty much in charge.

Well folks, that’s all the time we have tonight. For John Manning, I’m Trent Hoffman saying good night.

Hold on folks. We’re not slowing down at all.

Major, DuVall, Placebo and Dahrkov climb to their own turnbuckle and pose while Trinatas stands over the American Flag.

The scene then fades to the UWA logo, then to darkness.
