This is probably the biggest match of this young man’s life.
Are you discounting his matches with the legendary Minds Eye?
He got confidence out of those victories. Nothing tangible like a title around his waist.
He could get one of those in this match.
Andy’s music fades out, and he starts to become anxious, pulling on the ropes and pacing around faster and faster. His worries are settled when “I Am” by Dale Oliver blasts through-out the casino. The fans begin their booing, before the object of their actions even appears. He does, though, slowly stepping into the entrance tunnel. He walks a slow gait, one of a champion. He doesn’t focus on the fans, keeping his eyes on his adversary and challenger as his feet carry him towards the squared circle. He takes the stairs up onto the apron and through the ropes into the ring proper. He removes the US title belt from around his waist and holds it up for everyone, especially Gorgadore, to see. Referee Mike Blair steps between the two wrestlers before anything can happen.
Jamie Welsh stands in the middle of the ring, microphone raised up to her lips.
Ladies and gentlemen, our next matchup is scheduled for one fall, and is for the United Wrestling Alliance United States Championship. Overseeing this match-up is UWA official Mike Blair.
Now, to introduce the competitors. First up, standing of my right, he is a former UWA Television Champion. Standing 5 foot 11, he weighed in this morning at 148 pounds.
He’s packing on the pounds.
He hails from Mackay, deep in the heart of Australia…
I thought it was on the outskirts?
Quiet.
Ladies and Gentlemen……………..Andy GORGADORE!!!!!!
Andy receives an immense reception from the crowd, one of the largest of the whole night. The flashing bulbs, almost like fireflies, return for another round of intensity. They die down after a time.
Now, standing on my left, he is the current, reigning and defending UWA United States Champion. He weighed in this morning at 202 pounds. Standing 5 foot 11 inches high, he comes from Toronto Ontario Canada. Ladies and Gentlemen…….Ten Minute MAJOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The boos from earlier return, but they are quelled when Major raises the US title belt above his head. Blair takes the title belt from the challenger and holds it up for the world to see what is at stake in this match-up. He then hands it to Jamie, who carries it while she exits the ring. Blair proceeds to check both wrestlers for illegal objects.
Former friends, now bitter enemies.
In the short time of this International Incident Xtreme Revolution war, these two have been the most intense.
Bitter words have been exchanged, but the time for talking is over.
Let’s get it on!
Blair, satisfied with his check, backs out of the way and calls for the bell.
[Bell Rings]
Major and Gorgadore begin to circle the ring, like birds of prey eyeing their next meals. They look for weakness, points of advantage, anything to give them that upper-edge. But with even the best of strategies, action is needed.
They rush into the center of the ring. Andy fakes an elbow-tie up, but ducks under and around into a rear waist-lock. 10MM drops low, spreading his legs to get a lower center of gravity. He breaks apart Andy’s grip and does a go behind. He locks Andy in a full-nelson, but Gorgadore sits down, throwing his arms to his sides at the same time, breaking the grip. Gorgadore rolls backwards and gets his legs around Major’s mid-section, but 10MM grabs onto the legs and lifts off the mat. Andy gets his legs loose, landing on his feet. He reaches behind and gives 10MM an arm drag takedown.
Major gets up, and uses his forearms to block an Andy spinning standing heel kick. Gorgadore goes for a leg sweep, but 10MM just hops over it. Major then runs at the ropes, bouncing off them for more speed. Andy tries for a hip toss, but Major shifts his weight around in mid-motion and ends up giving Gorgadore a monkey flip, though the Australian lands on his feet.
Andy runs forward and jumps up, trying for a hurricanrauna, but Major pushes him away. 10MM then pulls Gorgadore’s feet out from under him. He hops over Andy’s knees and goes for a pin, but before the ref can even go down for the pin Gorgadore Matrix’s out. When 10MM stands he blocks a back thrust kick, spinning Andy away. They both then go for a dropkick, but neither connects. They are left in stand-off.
What an impressive display from the two youngsters.
There’s no telling what these guys are capable of. They could jump over buildings in a single bound.
Aren’t you getting carried away?
I didn’t say how high the buildings have to be, or where they are jumping from and to.
They meet in an elbow-tie up once again, they battle back and forth, battling for supremacy. Andy forces Major back into a corner, but Major swings him around, so that Andy is against the turnbuckles. Blair goes up to them and gives them 5 to break the hold. They do peacefully, until Major slaps Andy in the face.
The fans aren’t liking Major antics.
That happens.
Gorgadore holds the spot where the slap landed. Major backs up, hands held wide. Andy looks into the crowd before jumping forward and catching Major with a spear takedown. Gorgadore then mounts the champion and unloads with right hands to the face.
Andy pulls Major up and whips him into the ropes. 10MM manages to halt his progress at the steel cables. Andy charges forward, but Major drops down and shoulders him over onto the apron. Major doesn’t even look as he stands up and swings his elbow back, for it catches Andy right in the nose. Major follows it up with a back thrust kick to the mid-section. Gorgadore folds over slightly, leaning against the top rope. Major runs across the ring, bouncing off the far ropes. On the return he swings through the ropes and gives the Australian the 368 (619) to the back. Andy back arcs and he gets off the apron, looking for safety.
They know each other so well, it’s like poetry.
What would you know about poetry.
I know that the ladies like it.
Andy circles around the ring while Blair starts to count him out.

Andy makes it to in front of the commentators table before returning his attention to the ring. When he does so Major comes flying over the top rope in a suicide dive. Major takes down his challenger, and the two sprawl onto the mats.
I don’t think this action will ever stop.
[2]
Both men are known as high-impact wrestlers, throwing caution to the wind.
Will it work in this environment though? They are both high-flyers. I don’t know if their styles will mesh well.
Mesh well?

We can’t have this match be a flop. The second last match on the card should lead into the main event, and having it be bad won’t do us any good.
Major stands up and pulls Andy to his feet. He rolls the Australian into the ring. 10MM then hops onto the apron. He waits for Andy to stand before jumping onto the top cable. Andy makes a desperate move and leaps forward, shaking the steel cable. Major loses his balance and nuts himself on the cable. His eyes go wide.
Andy makes his way over to the corner and climbs to the top. He then steadies himself before walking along the cable to where Major is located. He gets his feet up around Major’s head and hurricanrauna’s him into the ring.
Quite the balancing act.
He could be a trapeze artist.
Andy pulls Major up and brings him over towards the corner. He then tries to smash his head into the turnbuckle, but Major sticks his foot out to stop him. Major then slams Gorgadore’s head into the turnbuckle hard. Gorgadore stumbles away as Major hops to the top rope. When he turns around Major leaps off in a moonsault.
Major pulls Andy up and half-pushes him towards the ropes. He leans Andy across the middle one and starts to choke him out.
Major showing off some of that short temper he’s known to have.
Major walks into the middle of the ring while Andy runs his throat. 10MM flips off a fan that has a “Down with Communism” sign. He then runs at Andy and goes for a normal 368, but Andy drops out of the way just in time.
Andy rolls onto the apron. He blocks a Major punch and gives him a shoulder tackle, causing the Canadian to stumble away. When he turns around, he takes a springboard dropkick right to the face. Major goes flying across the ring, almost falling off the apron.
Andy gets up and walks over to Major. He lets the Canadian to stand up. When done, Andy spins him around, grabs onto 10MM’s head from behind and gives him a reverse stun gun. Major falls to the outside.
Nothing but back and forth action from these guys.
I wonder if they’ll ever stop.
Yes they will. After the match.
Andy gets out of the ring and grabs onto Major. He pulls him up and hits him hard in the face with a forearm shot.
[1]
Andy then grabs onto Major and whips him into the security rail. Major hits with his back, sending a jolt along his spine.
[2]
Andy slaps hands with a few fans before going back to Major. He pulls him up and rams him spine first into the railing. He doesn’t let go, running Major gut first into the side of the ring. Gorgadore then picks Major up and hits a backbreaker.

Gorgadore beginning an assault on the back of the champion.
Gorgadore lifts Major up to his feet. He goes to whip 10MM into the steel ring post, but Major reverses, causing Gorgadore to meet the thick post up close and personal. It’s just a glancing shot, but Gorgadore still goes down.
[5]
Major takes a few seconds to catch his breath before returning his attention to his adversary. He pulls Andy up, revealing him to be busted wide open. Major shows a cold smile as he begins to punch away, opening the wound even more.
[6]
Major then grabs onto Andy as the blood continues to pour, and rolls him into the ring. Andy tries to get away as Major watches. He pulls Andy up, but Gorgadore comes back with a knife edge cop.
*SMACK*
Major stumbles into the ropes. Andy grabs onto him and whips him across, but Major reverses, sending Andy running. Gorgadore then does a hand-spring, bouncing off the ropes and coming back with a back elbow that catches Major right in the kisser.
Is there anything he can’t do?
Well, give birth.
Andy pulls Major up and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound he jumps up and catches Major with a hurricanrauna. He stays on top of Major not to pin, but to unload a combination of left and right punches.
Andy gets up and grabs onto both of Major’s legs. He doesn’t go for a submission move. He instead falls backwards and catapults Major onto the top rope. He hits but somehow stays on the cable.
Gorgadore then steps onto the apron. Seeing 10MM’s predicament, Andy jumps up and hits a dropkick right to the temple. Major falls to the mat right beside the ropes, holding his head in pain.
This is getting pretty violent. Shouldn’t you be warning people about this?
I’ll get around to it.
Slacker.
If I’m a slacker, than what are you?
Unmotivated.
Andy gets back into the ring for the pin.

Andy rolls Major into the middle of the ring. He then waits for the champion to rise before running forward. He goes for a clothesline, but Major ducks under it and catches Andy with a hard STO.
Major then Andy up and gives him a Downward Spiral, driving Andy’s already busted face hard into the mat.
Major is showing life again.
And all it took was one move.
Major starts to pull Andy up, smiling cockily. He almost doesn’t notice it when Andy drops down and gives him a jawbreaker. Major stumbles away a few steps. When he turns around Andy rolls forward and hits him with a Kapo Kick. Major goes flying backwards into the ropes, and the kick hit with enough force to knock Major’s bandana off. Major’s hair puffs out.
Dear God! Get that man a hair cut.
At least we know why he wears a bandana.
Both men are laid out, exhausted. Blair begins his 10 count.

[3]
Both men have gone through a lot tonight. They might not have the energy to get up.

Both men kicking it into second gear here.
Andy pulls Major up and whips him into the corner. Andy charges after him, but 10MM gets to boots up. 10MM then climbs to the middle turnbuckle, facing into the crowd. He waits for Andy to turn around before jumping off, grabbing onto Andy’s head as he lands on his feet. He then slams him down in an Inverted DDT. The force of the move causes Andy to roll onto the apron.
Major gets up and yells at Andy to stand. With Gorgadore on his feet, Major uses the top rope to spring up, catching Andy in a leg scissors and taking both of them to the mat below.
I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that in all my years of broadcasting.

Where’d he pull that out of?
I don’t know, but he did.

Major quickly rolls out of the ring. He grabs his US title and hurries towards the back while Andy looks on in shock.
Andy can’t believe he lost.
Neither can I. Major stole it.
Major backs his way up the ramp, keeping his eyes on Andy. The two start to yell insults back and forth, but they do no good.
