TD: Well folks, we’ve had a hot show so far. This is no time to start putting out crappy wrestling. The wrestlers in the main event tonight are going to be putting out only the best, and the fans know that.

KK: Yeah, because the two guys hate each other.

TD: That’s right Kraig. Rollin Thunder has not been a happy man since his friend and partner “Big” Jimmy Vetalo lost the world title one week ago to Krisus.

KK: Jimmy was screwed!

TD: That’s a matter of opinion. In the end, though, Krisus walked out of Melbourne the World Champion, despite Thunder’s best efforts.

KK: It’s put up or shut up time for the champion.

The camera pans around the arena, showing the hyped fans in Los Angeles. The view then goes to showing the variety of superstars arrayed around the ring. In front of the announcer’s desk stand Sean Boyle and Dante. On the side on the right of them stand Mark Vincent and Nic Totopoulous. By the ramp stands the former World Champion “Big” Jimmy Vetalo.

TD: AS you can tell, we have some of the top talent in the company acting like lumberjacks.

KK: Then what are they doing out here?

And, along the fourth side, stand Maximum Carnage Security, Alexi Draconis, Nick Pellett and James Ramage. They seem to be enjoying themselves, as they have lawn chairs out and a 24 of beer at ringside.

TD: Well, they are talented men.

KK: But they aren’t on the roster. They don’t qualify.

TD: You want to tell them that?

KK: Well, no.

TD: Besides, they are Canadian. Who better than to serve as lumberjacks than a trio of Canadians?

KK: You got a point there.

The camera then goes to the ring announcer.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match-up is the main event of the evening, and is a lumberjack match for the TNT World Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, he is the challenger…

“Evolution” by Motorhead starts to play as Rollin Thunder comes out amidst loud boos. He ignores them as he walks down the ramp. He stops by Vetalo, who pats him on the back encouragingly. Rollin Thunder then takes the stairs into the ring.

A: Hailing from Los Angeles, California…

KK: You wouldn’t tell from the way these fans are reacting.

A: and weighing in at 235 pounds, he is ROLLIN…THUNDER!!!

The fans boo even louder as Thunder does some poses in the ring.

TD: Rollin Thunder is not afraid of these sorts of situations. He has main evented a number of Pay Per Views, in a number of situations.

KK: True, but remember what happened the last time these two men met.

Thunder’s music fades out, and Thunder begins to pace around the ring, telling all the lumberjacks to stay where they are. Most of the wrestlers lip him off, except MC security, who toasts their beers at him.

A: Introducing second, he is the current, reigning and defending World Champion.

Then, “Not Falling” by Mudvayne plays, and Krisus makes his way down to the ring, with the world title held in his large grasp.

A: Hailing from parts unknown…KRISUS!!!!

At the bottom of the ramp he gets into a stare-down with Vetalo. Only when the referee tells the champion to get into the ring does Vetalo let him pass.

TD: I don’t think Vetalo will ever get over that loss.

Krisus enters the ring. The ref takes the title belt and raises it above his head.

KK: That’s what it’s all about. The World Title.

The ref hands the title to the bell keeper before making sure neither man has an illegal weapons. Thunder looks disinterested while the official does this. Krisus stares holes into Thunder. Then, satisfied, the ref calls for the bell.

Ding Ding!

TD: Here we go!

KK: Why do you keep saying that?

TD: I don’t know. Force of habit.

Rollin runs forward, and the two men get into an elbow-tie up. Thunder does his best, but he can’t match the power of Krisus, who violently pushes Thunder towards the corner.

TD: What strength.

Thunder stands slowly, working his shoulder. He mocks giving praise, before again rushing in. This time he does a go behind, grabbing Krisus around the waist. He tries to lift him around, but Krisus just laughs. The monster from Parts Unknown reaches down and breaks Thunder’s grip. Holding his hands apart, Krisus backs Thunder right into the corner. Krisus then turns around and rocks Thunder with an uppercut.

KK: Hey ref! Closed fists!

Thunder holds his jaw, until Krisus starts to blatantly choke him out. The ref gives him 4 counts before the champion breaks the hold on Thunder’s neck.

TD: You know, Krisus could have gotten himself disqualified there and retained his title.

KK: I know, but why didn’t he?

TD: He probably feels that he has to prove some people wrong, especially the High Rollers.

Krisus backs away from the corner, giving Thunder some room. He then charges back at the challenger, going for a clothesline. Thunder ducks under the large arm and goes to work on Krisus, punching away at his mid section. He then boots away at the gut, stomping away at the monster.

Krisus does manage to grab onto Thunder’s boot, though. He backs Thunder out of the corner before pushing him backwards, causing the High Roller to topple end over end. Thunder does get up and charge at his opponent, but he runs right into Krisus’s arm.

TD: What a clothesline.

Krisus goes for the cover.

1…

2…

Thunder kicks out.

KK: Take more than that to stop Thunder.

Krisus then pulls Thunder up and goes to throw him over the top rope in front of the announcers. Thunder manages to grab onto the top rope.

TD: Looks like he’s going to skin the cat.

Boyle then goes over to Thunder, grabs him by the ankles, and pulls him off. Thunder comes down hard, hitting his head. Vincent then goes over to his opponent earlier in the night, and the two of them start to go at it, until Pellett and Ramage stop them. Dante then pushes Thunder into the ring.

KK: What was Boyle doing? He should be helping Thunder to win, not helping to take him out.

TD: Why should he help Thunder to win?

KK: Thunder is a much better emissary for our company then Krisus.

TD: Oh okay.

Krisus pulls Thunder away from the ropes he covers him.

1…

2…

Thunder kicks out.

Krisus pulls Thunder up and whips him into the corner, between Vetalo and Totopoulous. He charges after him, but Thunder gets his boot up. Krisus stumbles away, holding his jaw. Thunder charges at Krisus and hits him with a clothesline. Krisus stumbles but stays standing. Thunder bounces off the ropes and tries again, but with the same results. Thunder then shrugs and does a dropkick to Krisus’s knees, taking him down.

KK: Thunder doing the smart thing, taking his base out from under him.

Thunder goes to work on the knee, booting away at it before doing an elbow drop onto it. He then pulls Krisus up and throws him over the top rope in front of Vetalo.

Vetalo goes to work on Krisus, pounding away at his midsection with powerful punches and kicks. The ref does nothing as Thunder has his attention. Vetalo then levels the champion with a hard lariat before pushing him back into the ring.

Thunder follows up on his partner’s work, pounding away at the downed champion. He pulled Krisus up and hit a knife edge chop.

*SMACK*

Krisus covered up, but Thunder pulled Krisus’s arms out of the way and did it again.

*SMACK*

Krisus holds his chest as he backs into the corner between Vetalo and MC security. He grabs onto the injured leg of Krisus and steps onto the apron, over the middle rope. He then steps back into the ring under the middle rope. He then stomps away at the exposed knee. The ref tells him to stop, so Rollin has a little chat with him in the middle of the ring. As he does so Vetalo grabs onto the leg and violently yanks it. Krisus yells in pain as he holds his knee.

TD: Thunder is using the fact that he has an ally to his advantage.

KK: He knows how to use all the cards available to him. That’s why he’s an “Impact Player”.

Thunder goes back after Krisus, booting away at the injured knee even as the World Chap tries to rise. Thunder pulls Krisus up and whips him into the opposite corner. He then charges after him, hitting with a clothesline. Krisus wavers, but does not go down.

Thunder then starts to punch Krisus in the chest and face. That is, until, Krisus grabs Thunder around the throat. He backs Thunder into the middle of the ring. Krisus then looks to go for a clothesline, until Thunder kicks at the injured knee. Krisus goes down, and Thunder retreats into the corner, holding his throat.

TD: Thunder got quite the scare there.

KK: Wouldn’t you be frightened if you had a massive hand reach around your throat?

TD: I imagine I would be.

KK: Then don’t patronize the man.

Thunder then charges at Krisus, but the World champ catches him and hits a desperation powerslam. Krisus then pulls Thunder up and hits a back suplex.

TD: He dropped him from nearly 8 feet in the air!

Krisus then covers him.

1…

2…

Thunder kicks out.

Krisus then stands, pulling Thunder up. He then tosses Thunder over the top rope, right in front of “Big” Jimmy Vetalo. Vetalo helps his partner up. Krisus realizes his mistake and steps over the top rope, going to the outside. Vetalo and Krisus then begin to slug it out as Thunder catches a breather.

KK: What is Krisus doing? He should be resting in the ring.

TD: I guess he didn’t want Thunder to be resting.

Soon, all the superstars are in the mix, slugging it out. Thunder and Krisus just try to survive. Well, almost all the superstars are in it.

TD: How come Draconis isn’t in it?

KK: I don’t know. Ask him.

Alexi is still in his lawn chair, watching as his MC partners slug it out with the rest of the superstars. He then shrugs and walks over to the announcers table. As he does so you see Vincent leave the mass of superstars, climb to the top of the nearest turnbuckle, and leap off in a shooting star press, knocking over most of the superstars.

TD: Vincent with the high-risk offense, taking out anyone who gets in his way.

Alexi then hands his beer to Kraig before getting into the ring. He then runs and does a suicide flip dive over the top rope, knocking almost everyone down. Thunder had seen it just in a nick of time and had moved out of the way.

KK: Everyone beside Thunder is down.

Thunder grabs onto Krisus and rolls him into the ring. He then climbs to the top turnbuckle as all the lumberjacks go back to their positions. Krisus stands, and Thunder leaps off in a missile dropkick, catching the World Champion in the face. Krisus goes down, and Thunder covers him.

1…

2…

Krisus powers out.

Thunder then stands, bounces off the ropes and hits a dropkick to the side of Krisus’s head as he starts to rise. Krisus flattens out again. Thunder then grabs onto Krisus and pulls him up. He goes to whip him into the ropes in front of Vetalo, but Krisus reverses. Thunder grabs onto the rope for safety. Krisus then runs over and tries for a big boot, but Thunder ducks down, and Krisus nuts himself on the top rope.

KK: Ouch.

Thunder then stands and dropkicks Krisus, knocking him to the outside. Thunder distracts the ref as Vetalo grabs onto Krisus and whips him into the steel steps knees first. Krisus holds his knee in pain as Vetalo rolls him into the ring.

TD: Oh come on. That was cheap.

KK: No, that was smart.

TD: Something can be cheap and smart at the same time.

KK: Well, you aren’t, you dummy.

Thunder grabs onto Krisus and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound he tries for a Thunder Kick, but Krisus grabs onto the boot just in time. He spins Thunder around and grabs him from behind. He then hits a desperation German suplex. Both men lay on the mat.

TD: Krisus with the big German suplex, but it took a lot out of him.

KK: It took a lot out of Thunder too.

Both men gasp for air. The ref starts to utilize his 10 count.

1

2

3

Thunder starts to show some life. He rolls over onto his stomach. Krisus is still out.

4

5

Thunder makes his way to the ropes as Krisus shows the first signs of life, rolling over onto his gut.

6

7

Thunder gets to his feet and pulls Krisus the rest of the way up. He whips Krisus into the corner before charging after him. Krisus drops down to one knee, due to the pain in his knee, but still manages to propel Thunder over the top rope to the outside, where he hits the barricade with his head.

KK: Holy Crap.

TD: Unusual yet highly effective counter by the World Champion.

On the outside, Vincent and Totopoulous go after Thunder, hitting him with forearm shots before rolling him back into the ring. Thunder has a small cut above his right eye, and blood trickles out of it. Krisus does not care as he whips Thunder into the ropes. On the rebound he hits a Big Boot, but because of the force behind it going into his injured knee, he drops down in pain. He takes a few seconds before covering Thunder.

TD: Krisus might have it here!

1…

KK: Or he may not.

2…

Thunder kicks out.

KK: See?

TD: Lucky guess.

KK: No, intuition.

TD: Oh, you mean that female razor? You use that?

KK: Hey, shut up.

Krisus pulls Thunder up and whips him into the corner between Vetalo and Vincent. He then charges after him and goes for a spear, but Thunder drops down just in time. Krisus runs into the steel ring post. Thunder then shoves Krisus to the outside, to buy himself some time.

Vetalo goes after Krisus attacking his injured shoulder. Vincent, seeing enough, starts to go after Vetalo, backing him towards the steel stage. Soon, Sean Boyle runs over, and the three men start to brawl.

TD: That better not get out of hand.

KK: Don’t worry; if it does, we have security already here.

Totopoulous grabs onto Krisus and throws him into the ring. Thunder comes up to him and pulls him up. He then grabs onto the injured leg and does a dragon screw, almost ripping the bad knee off. Thunder leaves Krisus in the middle of the ring and goes to a corner. He climbs onto the top rope and leaps off in an elbow drop, landing on the injured knee. Krisus rolls around in pain, holding his knee.

KK: Thunder with the smart offense, targeting that knee.

Thunder goes for the pin.

1…

2…

Krisus kicks out.

Thunder can’t believe it. He looks at the ref and tells him that he counted too slowly. He then covers Krisus again.

1…

2…

Again, Krisus kicks out.

TD: Thunder needs to think of something else.

KK: Yeah, and fast.

Thunder pulls Krisus up and whips him into the corner. He charges after him, but Krisus pops out, going for a clothesline. Thunder ducks under it and hops up onto the second turnbuckle before launching off in a cross body. Krisus catches him, though, and does a fall-away slam. Thunder rolls into the middle of the ring.

TD: Krisus storming back.

KK: It won’t last.

Krisus goes up to Thunder and pulls him up. He whips him into the ropes and does a sidewalk slam.

TD: Seems you’re wrong.

KK: Thunder can still get back into this match.

Krisus decides against the pin and pulls Thunder up. He puts Thunder on top of the nearest turnbuckle, so that the “Impact Player” is facing the crowd. He then tangles the challenger’s feet in the ropes and drapes him down, putting him into the tree of woe.

Krisus then begins to stomp away at Thunder’s face and upper chest. RT tries to cover up, but he can’t stop all of it.

Finally, the ref forces Krisus away so that he can free Thunder from the ropes.

KK: About time. Krisus could seriously harm Thunder.

TD: That’s what happens in this business: people get hurt.

Thunder starts to pull himself up, his face a crimson mask, as Krisus watches like an animal on the hunt. The champion waits for Thunder to get up before putting Thunder onto his shoulders. He seems to go for the Tombstone Piledriver, but Thunder squirms off his shoulders. He then grabs Krisus from behind and gives him a German suplex.

Thunder gets up and grabs onto Krisus’s injured leg. He then starts to put him into a Half Boston Crab.

TD: If Thunder can lock this in, he could win.

KK: Krisus is screwed.

Thunder fights to lock the move in, as Krisus does his best to stop him.

But, Thunder manages to lock the submission move in. He pulls back, making the move even more painful. Krisus screams in pain, holding his head.

The ref asks him if he wants to submit, but he shakes his head no.

TD: Krisus has to get to the ropes quick, or he’ll have to tap out.

KK: That, or lose that leg for good.

Krisus starts to crawl towards the ropes. He gets to about a yard away when Thunder puts even more pressure into the move. The ref asks him again.

Krisus yells no.

KK: Thunder’s going to win!

TD: Not quite.

Krisus crawls even closer to the ropes. But, just before he gets there, Thunder pulls him back into the middle of the ring. The crowd moans as Krisus is now in far away from any ropes. The ref again asks Krisus if he wants to submit.

Krisus yells no, shaking his head adamantly even as he screams in pain.

KK: Only a matter of time now.

Krisus gets both his arms underneath himself, pushing his chest off the mat. He then uses what strength he has to kick Thunder away. The crowd cheers.

Krisus pushes himself up onto his feet. Rollin Thunder runs at him, but Krisus grabs him around the throat and does a desperation Choke Slam. Vetalo on the outside goes to distract the ref, but Vincent pulls him down, and the two of them go at it again. Boyle, resting against the railing, goes at it again with them, and the three of them start to fight their way up the ramp.

Both men are sucking air, so the ref starts his 10 count.

4

Krisus is the first to stir, though Thunder is not far behind.

5

6

7

Krisus gets to his feet. He pulls Thunder up and puts him in the powerbomb position. He swings him up, but Thunder drops out of the move. Krisus goes for a roundhouse right, but Thunder ducks around. When Krisus turns around…

TD: THUNDER KICK!!!

KK: It’s over. Thunder’s won.

TD: I think he only got a grazing shot.

KK: But was it enough?

Thunder falls down on Krisus, covering him.

1…

2…

Krisus gets a shoulder up. Thunder can’t believe it. He starts to pull his hair out.

TD: Thunder can’t believe he isn’t the world champ right now.

KK: He’s not the only one.

Thunder stands and walks to the corner. He then motions that he’s going for the Thunder Kick.

KK: Krisus won’t be able to kick out of another one.

Krisus pushes himself up, unaware of Thunder. He gets to his feet, and turns towards Thunder, who goes for the Thunder Kick.

TD: He blocked it.

Krisus grabs onto Thunder’s leg. He then swings Thunder like a bat towards the middle of the ring.

Only problem is that Thunder collides with the poor ref. Both men go down.

TD: This ain’t good.

Krisus makes his way to Thunder and pulls him up, but the “Impact Player” responds with a low blow. Krisus folds. Vetalo makes his way down the ramp, while Vincent and Boyle go at it. He climbs up onto the apron, but Totopoulous pulls him down. Soon, a huge brawl ensues, with all the lumberjacks involved.

Thunder sees his moment. He gets out of the ring and makes his way to the bell-keeper. He grabs onto the title belt and gets into the ring. He then lines the Champ up.

TD: This isn’t good for Krisus.

Krisus stands, and Thunder charges at him, cracking the World title over his skull. Thunder then tosses the title belt out of the ring.

All of a sudden.

Ding Ding Ding.

Thunder looks around in shuck at the referee, who’s pulling himself up by the ropes. He saw the whole thing.

Announcer: The referee has ruled that this match ends in a Disqualification. Your winner, and STILL World Champion…KRISUS!

Thunder starts to pull his hair out. He starts to flip out, knowing that he was so close. He lips the referee off before giving the referee a Thunder Kick.

TD: That wasn’t necessary.

Thunder then grabs onto the title belt and stands over Krisus, talking trash down to him.

TD: Well folks, that’s the end of the festivities. For Kraig Karmen, I’m Tim Divine, saying Thank You.

The scene fades to the TNT logo, with Thunder posing over Krisus with the World Title above his head.
