"One Thing" hits the speakers and then blue and yellow strobe lights flash as the Krippler's video plays on the Globatron. He makes his way out to the ramp and walks down to the ring without the smile or swagger. He is all serious for this match. He takes the steps up onto the apron and into the ring, doing some last second stretching.

SM: Theres a lot riding in this match-up.

Tank: This is the culmination of a week of hatred over what happened to Jenkins.

:...CAGE ENTERPRISES PRESENTS...:
:...ICON://MATT CAGE...:

The lights in the arena flicker on and off as a faint siren can be heard in the background before a huge blue pyro erupts at the top of the stage. "Eyes Wired Shut" by Edgewater hits exactly at the beginning of the chorus on the PA system and Matt Cage comes out from behind the curtain with a cocky smirk on his face as usual. The crowd erupts into boos as he makes his way down towards the ring. He walks up the stairs and steps in between the ropes and into the ring. He stands in his corner, waiting for the introductions.

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, our next match-up is scheduled for one fall, and is your Main Event of the evening!

The crowd cheers.

Ring Announcer: Introducing first, standing to my right, he weighed in this morning at 233 pounds. Coming from Phoenix ArizonaKRIPPLER!!!!!

The former World Champ gets plenty of cheers from the crowd, though he does not notice. All his attention is focused on the man across the ring from him.

Ring Announcer: Introducing second, standing in the corner to my left. He stands 6 foot 4 inches in height, and is a 5 time former TPW World Champion. Ladies and GentlemenMatt CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

The hometown boy get no hometown grace whatsoever, instead receiving a plethora of boos thrown his way. The ring announcer leaves the ring, and the referee calls for the bell to be rung.

[Bell Rings]

SM: You can feel the energy just vibrating through-out this arena.

Tank: I agree. The crowd here in the Thomas & Mack Center cant help but feel excited for this match-up.

Krippler and Cage walk to the center of the ring, going nose to nose. No words are exchanged, since it is long past time for idle chit-chat. Cage backs up, though not before giving Krippler a slap to the face.

The crowd explodes into boos, begging for Krippler to respond. Krippler fakes a slap, instead running his hand through his hair. This confuses Cage.

SM: The mental battle has already started.

Tank: And Krippler is winning it.

They go right into a collar and elbow tie-up, jockeying for position. They break it after a few seconds.

They go at it again, swinging back and forth like some sort of dance until Krippler is backed into the corner. The referee gets into it and forces them to break the hold, though not before Cage gives a parting shove.

SM: The hatred is so evident right here.

They lock up again in a tight collar and elbow tie-up, backing up into the ropes. The ref gives them three seconds before forcing them to break, but Cage hit Krippler with a forearm shot to the face.

SM: Cage with the cheap shot.

Cage goes for the Irish Whip but Krippler reverses. Cage comes back with a shoulder block, knocking the former World Champ off his feet. Cage then goes to bounce off the ropes on the left, but Krippler kips up, stopping Cage short. Krippler then runs both of his hands through his hair and flings the sweat onto Cage. Matt then rolls to the outside.

Tank: Both men are trying to get into each others head.

Krippler sits on the middle rope, inviting Cage to get back into the ring, but Matt is having none of it. He tells the ref to make Krippler give some space, who is happy to oblige. Cage finally gets back into the ring, but Krippler then rolls out of the ring on the other side.

SM: Neither of them wants to give their opponent anything.

Tank: Well, they did train together. They know each others style.

Krippler gets into the ring, and they lock up again, with Cage getting the wristlock. Krippler jumps up, shifting his weight around as he grabs onto Cages head. They roll onto the mat with Krippler getting the side headlock. Cage makes sure to keep his shoulders off the mat as he pushes Kripplers head enough to put it into a head-scissors.

Krippler rolls around until he is on his knees, though Cage leans forward and puts his elbows into Kripplers back. Krippler pushes Matts arms away and flips over, going for the jackknife pin. They both push themselves up onto their feet, with Krippler spinning around so that he has Cage in a standing headscissors. He lifts Cage up for a powerbomb, but Matt slips off and gives Krippler an arm drag.

Krippler gets up and gives Cage an arm drag. Matt immediately gets up and ducks a Krippler Discus clothesline, giving Krippler a Japanese Arm Drag. Krippler gets up, but Cage trips him and goes for a pin, but before the ref can even get a one count Krippler Matrixs out of the move.

Cage gets up and gets whipped into the corner. Krippler charges, but Matt pushes him up and over onto the apron. Krippler grabs Cage in a front headlock and starts to lift him up for a suplex, but Cage kicks his feet. Matt then lifts Krippler up for a suplex into the ring, but Krippler twists around in mid-air and lands on his feet. He gives Cage a German suplex, but Cage lands on his feet.

Cage grabs onto Krippler from behind and lifts him up, but Krippler instead goes for a forward victory roll. Cage blocks it and lifts Krippler back up, but Krippler turns it into a deep arm drag. When Cage gets up Krippler goes for a side kick, but Cage rolls under it, grabbing onto Krippler when he turns around and giving him an arm drag.

They then both go up for dropkicks but neither man connects. They scurry up onto their feet in a stale-mate, and all the air in the arena explodes.

SM: What the hell do you call that?

Tank: Chain wrestling at its finest.

They lock up again in the ring, Cage coming out with a rear wrist-lock. Krippler then walks forward, stepping between the ropes and back into the ring, catching Cages arm around the middle rope. Krippler then pulls Cage away from the rope and tries to put him into the Krippler Krossface, but Cage quickly scurries into the ropes.

Tank: Cage knows he cant dare get caught by that move.

SM: If he does then the night could be over really quick.

Krippler waists little time, charging at Cage and hitting him with a hard forearm shot. He whips Cage into the corner and charges, but Cage brings both of his boots up. Krippler hits, stumbles backwards and falls down, allowing Cage to grab his legs and try and lock in the Cage Clutch. Krippler quickly scurries out of the move, grabbing onto the bottom rope.

SM: And Krippler quickly gets out of the Cage Clutch.

Tank: Both painful submission moves.

Krippler climbs up on the apron, though Cage hits a baseball slide, knocking Krippler off the apron to the outside. Krippler gets up onto his feet, just in time to have Cage crash into him with a tope.

Tank: And Cage takes the first stupid risk of the match!

SM: I thought you like Cage.

Tank: I do, but its still a stupid move.

Cage gets up, flipping off a fan or two close to him. He pulls Krippler up and rolls him into the ring. Pulling Krippler up, he lifts him as if for a back suplex, but flips Krippler through the move so that he comes down with a bulldog.

Cage immediately gets up and puts a finger to his mouth, as if asking the crowd to be silent. They are anything but as they explode into boos.

Cage goes over to Krippler and boots him in the back of the head a couple of times. Matt pulls Krippler up and brings him into the corner, slamming his head against the top turnbuckle. Cage then turns Krippler around and hits him with a hard knife edge chop.

**SMACK**

Whooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cage hits him with another.

**SMACK**

Whooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kripplers chest is beat red. Cage grabs onto him and whips him across the ring. Cage follows after and hits a clothesline that nearly takes Kripplers head off. Matt grabs onto Krippler and sits him on the top turnbuckle before hitting him with an open palm strike that knocks him off the turnbuckle to the outside.

Tank: Krippler almost lost his head there.

Cage rolls to the outside, pulling Krippler up. He brings him over to the steel steps and slams his head into it. Krippler stumbles over towards the announce table, where Cage picks him up and drops him chest first onto.

Cage then begins to pulls the announce table apart, pulling the top off and moving the monitors. He pulls Krippler up and puts him in a standing headscissors.

SM: Oh god, Cage is gonna put Krippler through the announce table!

Tank: We better move out of the way.

Cage starts to lift the former World Champ up, but Krippler kicks his leg before countering into a back body drop onto the thin mats.

Cage gets up, but Krippler grabs onto him and slams him into the steel steps, causing them to come apart.

SM: Krippler is fighting is way back into this match.

Krippler pulls Cage up and pushes him into the ring. Krippler climbs in as well, pulls Cage up and hits a shoulder-breaker. Cage rolls around in pain on the mat, holding his shoulder. Krippler takes a couple of shots at the injured area with his boot, causing Cage to roll into the ropes.

Cage stands up on the apron, and Krippler connects with a hard dropkick that knocks him back into the security railing.

Krippler takes a few seconds before rolling to the outside. He pulls Cage up and connects with a hard right hand that staggers Cage back a few feet. Krippler then takes him down with a clothesline.

Krippler gets Cage back into the ring. He climbs into the ring and hits a snap suplex before floating over and going for the pin.

Cage gets a shoulder up.

Tank: Ladies and gentlemen that was the first real pin of the match.

SM: And certainly not the last.

Tank: Well obviously. This match has to end sometime.

SM: It could end in submission.

Tank: It could end with a Shut-The-Hell-Up!

Krippler pulls Cage up, but the former CEO sticks his thumb into Kripplers eye. Krippler stumbles around the ring, holding his face. He turns back towards his opponent, and right into a superkick.

Tank: What a counter.

SM: Cage is back in control of this match.

Cage pulls Krippler up and whips him into the corner. He follows him over and hits him with a couple of hard right fists. The ref warns him about the closed fist, prompting Cage to change his offense to forearm shots.

Cage pulls Krippler away from the corner and puts him in a front headlock. Cage then lifts Krippler up and drops him chest first onto the top rope. Cage then goes into the corner beside Krippler and charges, hitting Krippler in the side of the head with a hard Yakuza Kick. Krippler falls onto the apron with a dazed look on his face.

SM: Krippler has taken a beating in this match so far.

Tank: And it isnt getting any better.

SM: Oh no. Remember, Cage was able to retire his long-time nemesis Demon a couple weeks ago. He knows to be ruthless when the time is right.

Cage pulls Krippler into the ring away from the ropes and goes for the cover.

1

2

Krippler kicks out.

Cage pulls Krippler up to his feet and hits a neckbreaker in the middle of the ring.

SM: Cage is really going after Kripplers head and neck.

Tank: Hes wearing him out so that when he hits the Mindbender, Krippler wont be able to kick out.

SM: Smart strategy.

Tank: What, did you think he is a 5 time World Champ by chance?

Cage gets up and boots away at the back of Kripplers head before rolling him over and feeding him hard forearm shots. Cage then gets up, smirks, and makes his way over to a corner.

Cage climbs to the top and waits for Krippler to stand. When he does, Cage leaps off in a cross body block, but Krippler jumps up and hits a desperation dropkick to Cages sternum. They both slump to the mat.

Tank: Krippler countered!

SM: Cage went high-risk, but Krippler made him pay.

Both men get up to their feet and Cage charges, but Krippler catches Cage with a spinning spinebuster.

SM: Shades of Arn Anderson.

Krippler pulls Cage up and whips him into the ropes, hitting a high back body drop. Cage gets up, but receives a hard boot to the gut for his troubles. Krippler then bounces off the ropes and hits him with a Yakuza kick to the side of the head, spinning him around. Krippler keeps running and on the rebound hits Cage with a spinning neckbreaker.

Krippler then pulls Cage up to his feet and leads him over to a corner, picking him up and sitting him on the top rope, facing out into the crowd.

Krippler then begins to climb up, forcing Cage up as well.

Tank: This doesnt look good.

SM: For either man.

Finally up on top, Krippler grabs onto Cage in a rear waist-lock.

SM: Krippler is going to give Cage a German Suplex.

Tank: From the top rope!

Krippler then falls backwards and gives Cage a German Suplex, who flips through the move and lands on his chest. Cage immediately rolls onto his knees due to the move, but collapses nonetheless.

Crowd: Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!

SM: What a move!

Tank: Both men could be dead.

Krippler begins to slowly pull himself towards Cage. The anticipation of the crowd builds as Krippler gets an arm over Cage.

1

2

Cage gets a shoulder up, and the crowd cant believe it.

Krippler pulls Cage up, but Matt somehow comes back with a hard forearm shot to the face. Cage follows it up with another that knocks Krippler into the ropes by the announce table. Cage screams and charges, hitting a clothesline that sends both of them to the outside.

Tank: You can only fathom what it will take to put them away.

SM: They cant keep this pace up for long.

Cage is up to his feet first, holding onto the bottom ring rope to steady himself. Krippler starts to get up, but Cage hits a jumping enziguri that almost puts his lights out.

Matt looks to the announce table, to Krippler, then back to the announce table before an idea hits. He indicates he is a thinking man by tapping his head before he pulls a limp Krippler and rolls him onto the table.

Cage then climbs up onto the apron.

Tank: Im moving.

SM: Yeah, me too.

Cage jumps off and does a Hollywood Star Press, arcing through the air towards Krippler and the announce table.

Unfortunately for Cage, Krippler moves out of the way, and Cage crashes through the table.

Crowd: Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!

SM: Both men doing anything and everything they can to put their opponent away!

Tank: I hope those EMTs are ready in the back.

Krippler reaches into the mess of the announce table and pulls a barely-coherent Cage out of the wreckage. He heaves him into the ring, following it up and making the cover.

1

2

Cage grabs onto the bottom rope.

Krippler pulls Cage and brings him away from the ropes to hit a back suplex. Krippler then makes his way to a corner and ascends to the top.

Tank: When will they learn that High Risk moves arent going to work for them?

SM: As soon as they do work.

Krippler gets his feet settled underneath himself and jumps off going for the frog splash. Cage rolls out of the way though, and Krippler meets nothing but mat.

Both men are now sucking air on the mat, seemingly unable to continue. The ref begins his count, with the crowd counting along.

[1]

[2]

[3]

Neither man has shown any signs of life. The ref looks towards the back, hoping that there are EMTs there.

SM: Both of them could be out.

Tank: Be a big disappointment if neither of them can compete any more.

[4]

[5]

Krippler starts to stir, moving his arms around.

[6]

[7]

Krippler starts to get up to his feet.

[8]

Krippler, now on his feet, tells the ref to stop the count. The former World Champ then staggers over to Cage, who hasnt moved at all. He pulls him up, but Matt springs to life out of nowhere and hits a Cage Clutter.

SM: Cage Cutter!!!!

Tank: He was playing possum all along!

Cage goes for the cover.

1

2

Krippler gets a shoulder up, and Cage cant believe it. He pounds the mat in frustration.

SM: Krippler showing off what made him the World Champ in the first place.

Tank: And why they earned this Main Event slot.

Cage starts to boot away at the back of Kripplers neck. A scoop slam is followed up by a running knee drop across the top of the head, causing Krippler to roll around the ring in pain.

Cage pulls Krippler up and whips him hard into a far corner. Krippler hits and bounces out, and Cage charges after, going for the Drop Top. Krippler moves out of the way at the last second, and Cage goes flying into the ring post.

Cage gets out of the corner, and Krippler takes him down to the mat and locks on the Krippler Krossface. The crowd explodes as Cage screams in pain.

SM: Krippler Krossface!

The ref asks Cage if he wants to submit, but he yells no.

Tank: Cage has already taken a lot of abuse on that shoulder here in this match.

The ref asks Cage again, who refuses to give up.

Cage then starts to inch his way closer to the ropes. He almost gets there before Krippler puts more force into the move.

SM: The end may be near.

The ref asks again, but Cage responds by getting a foot on the rope. The ref has no choice but to force Krippler to break the move.

Cage starts to get up via the ropes, but Krippler comes over and hits him with clubbing blows to the back. He starts to go for the Phenom Bomb, but Cage kicks his legs to stall the move. Krippler unloads with forearm shots and knee to the midsection, letting all his pent-up aggression out in one volley.

Krippler then lifts Cage up and hits the Phenom Bomb!

SM: Phenom Bomb! The match has to be over now.

Tank: Krippler still needs the three count.

Krippler covers Cage. The crowd chants along.

1

2

Cage somehow gets a shoulder up.

Tank: Theyre pulling this energy from somewhere, but I dont know where.

SM: Its because they hate each other so much.

Krippler goes back to what works. He pulls Cage up and puts him in a standing headscissors, but Cage trips him up and does a jackknife pin.

1...

2

Krippler kicks out.

Krippler gets up and tries to clothesline Cage, but Matt ducks under and goes for the roll-up, hooking Kripplers tights.

1

2

Krippler kicks out.

SM: Cage is trying to end this any way he can.

Tank: Looking at how the match has been going lately, I dont blame him.

Krippler grabs onto Cage and whips him into a corner. He takes a few seconds before charging after, going for the Splash. Cage moves out of the way and Krippler hits, bouncing out of the corner. He turns towards Matt

SM: DROP TOP!!!!!!!!!

Cage takes a few seconds before he can get back onto his feet. He grabs onto a handful of Kripplers hair and brings him into the middle of the ring. Once there, Cage calls for the end.

Tank: Mindbender time.

Cage picks Krippler and puts him onto his shoulder. He puts him in position for the Mindbender, but Krippler starts to kick his legs, overbalancing Cage.

SM: Krippler reversed.

Tank: He isnt.is he?

Krippler has Cage in position for the Mindbender, which he hits in the middle of the ring. Krippler collapses down on top of Cage, and the ref makes the count.

1

2

3!!!

SM: He did it!

The ref raises Kripplers limp arm.

Ring Announcer: Your winnerKRIPPLER!!!!!

The crowd bursts into cheers as the EMTs head down to the ring.

SM: What a match.

Tank: What a night. We got a new Super X Champion, and weve had some excellent action on the whole.

SM: For Tony Nordstrom, Im Scott Michaels saying thank you, and well see you on Wargames.

The TPW logo appears as the trainers help Krippler to his feet. The show then fades to black.
