He rides down from the mountains
on a steed so fine and strong
he looks so noble and dashing
ladies swoon as he strides along
but he only rides to be by my side
for the time has been much too long
since we last shared our passion
but this night, to us, will belong
As he dismounts his faithful steed
approaching, lifts me off the ground
taking me in his strong loving arms
and twirling me all around
We share a love so strong, eternal
no sweeter man could there be found
for me, there would be no other
my heart to him forever bound
He carries me to our chamber
gently placing me on the bed
I can see a glimmer in his eyes
sweet thoughts racing through my head
His absence had felt like forever
now the loneliness that was, has fled
for this night will be spent together
filled with passionate love instead
The candlelight dances upon the walls
as he brushes his lips on mine
I can feel his soft touch upon my breast
a sensation so sweetly divine
He slowly descends to lay by my side
our bodies and souls entwine
In sweet embrace, I look into his face
and know everything, now will be fine.
