"Here is my version of the warm wishes pattern. I love this duck fabric and bought quite
a bit of it last year, although my expectations of what it would look like in a quilt were
never really met. I loved the idea of mixing that bit of bright orange that is in the beak
in the quilt, but once I put it in, I really don't like it. I toned it down with a dull yellow
and a medium yellow and orange. I think the quilt is just fine, just not what I was
expecting. I quilted it with an all over wave pattern that was quite fun to do.
I made it for a one year old girl at the shelter. She has such a smile! Melts your heart."
