| 5/10/03- We are changing the name to P.S.16. We have finally understood that the name Rubber Bones kind of sucks. We are still looking for a drummer and bass player, and have a possible line up for a newly added brass section. If we get this brass section we would be a complete ska band. But if not then fuck it. As for the new P.S. 16 site, I won't be updating it until we have a full band. Oh, and this could possibly be the last update for this site. So if it is say good bye to Rubber Bones. If anyone is still interested in playing in our band, we are still looking for the oh-so-important drum and bass players. The requirements are pretty small. They are: 1. Dedication! We don't won't any of that I love my girlfriend so much that I had to miss practice bullshit. FUCK THAT! Our scedule usually goes like this: Mon-Fri we try to get Bass, Guitar, and Vocals together so we can get our shit together. Sat and Sun are when we get with the drums. We usually make tapes so that the drummer can have those on the weekdays to make up rythms with, this way on the weekend he/she will have a few ideas. It is ok to miss one or two practices during the week, but on the weekend we are very serious. Those are the most important ones. They don't take up the whole day, so their would be no reason to miss one. Your social life will be their after practice. 2. We don't want to sound like we are rushing things, but we are very serious about getting our shit together so we can start to play gigs. That is half the fun of making music. We have plenty of songs, so we are ready to play we just need drums, and bass. So if you decide that you want to play, you must be ready to gig. Oh, and decent equipment would be nice. But if you don't have good stuff, then we know peeps who will let you use their crap. 3. I don't want to sound picky, but I guess I have to. We are aiming to be a ska band. All of our songs so far have been ska, and we plan on sticking to our guns. We like ska, and punk. We would like it if you did to. Some of the bands we like are The Dropkick Murphys, Less Than Jake, Social Distortion, Operation Ivy, Leftover Crizack, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Common Rider, In-DK, Against All Authority, The Aquabats, The Specials, The Misfits, Rancid.
