| I see the sun in your eyes and it makes me realize That through all of the visions and the lies And all of the tears that I cried, have brought me closer to you No matter what you do, everything we've been through All of the things we've had to review, it all makes me blue, But believe me when I say this, To you I have never been untrue Standing alone in the street, all at once feeling incomplete Then I see you standing on your feet, All the words I make you repeat And it feels like everyone has suddenly come to greet me Alone with you and your friends, wishing that this night would never end Knowing that with you I'll never have to pretend Or be anything else other than me, makes me feel like I have something to defend Random thoughts rolling around in my head,Thinking of other things I should have said But I don't know what I would have done instead So randomly my thoughts keep comming back to you |
