| Insignificant |
| Look at her sitting alone on her back porch Always making you feel like such a dork Never know why you can't just go and talk to her Sitting alone in your living room, watching her through the window Watching her as she gazes your way, looking at you For a moment you think that she's staring right at you Then your older brother comes out from behind you Making you feel insignificant You watch her later on, once your brother's gone Get the urge to just go up to her... and introduce yourself But it never comes and goes, just stays there forever You tell yourself to be a man; she's just a girl-- you know you can But she's sitting there, combing her bestfriends hair Telling jokes and calling other guys, on her brand new cell phone Telling them to come over, catch some rays-- in her new pool Something's are just better over there It's too bad your not a man, just go over there while you know you can Just go up and talk to her... nothing funny, keep it simple She's a chick now, not some dumb girl-remember that she'll be waiting No need to worry, just go up to her, She'll do most of the talking It's what she likes to do any who... Go up to her, see if you can catch some rays, in her brand new pool And if she says no you'll pretend thats cool... then walk away slowly Never letting her know how sorry you are... If I could just be a man, go up to her while I know I can Things would be so much better, even if she did say no Atleast I'll know that I talked to her, the coolest girl in my school I'll know what it feels like, to be and act just like one of the cool kids do Now that I'm older, I'm glad I didn't get to know her Turns out she's a mother who doesn't care for her kids Her husband's left her... she has no place to go No one would come looking for her if she just disapeared Her first son has no father, why should I even bother She didn't care about me then, why should she now I'm only making 10 million a year, she wouldn't want anything to do With her ex-husbands little brother |
