Meet the RTWW2K Family

We are Ky and Bonnie, based out of the Seattle, Washington, USA area.  We both turned 40 on the trip. We have 2 children, Jessica and Nathan.  Jessica turned 5 and Nathan turned 3 on the trip.

Ky has a background in electrical and computer engineering, project management, and residential real estate.  His love for travel was kindled early in childhood.  He was born in Virginia, and spent many summer days travelling around the country with his family in a Dodge Crestwood station wagon, eating at Stuckey's.  His family also spent many a summer day camping in a tenet trailer at Lake Arrowhead campground in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Bonnie has a diverse background in financial analysis, commerical and residential real estate, and being a wonderful mother.  She was born in Texas, and her love for travel began......

Both share a love for travel, fueled by living for 2 years in Europe (split between Germany and Italy) in the mid 80's.
