| Mount Whitney The highest point in the lower 48. My solo route was up what is known as the mountaineers route, a classic alpine push though a varied mix of beautiful though rough terrain. The route starts below tree line, then moves up, culminating in an exciting run up the snow/ice couloir up the right hand side of the prominent east face. |
