Nóyatûkâh Mini-FAQ
Q. Are you planning an HTML version of the grammar?
A. Not at this time. Right now, I’m concerned with getting it done. Nor is an HTML version likely in the future; this grammar is mostly for my own reference as I do further work on the conworld associated with Nóyatûkâh.
Q. Will you be posting details of the conworld?
A. I have no current plans to.
Q. Why has it taken so long to develop the language?
A. It just did. Nóyatûkâh began as a simple naming language in the early 1990s (91 or 92). It achieved full language-hood around the summer of 1995, when I went away to college. It went through several years of change and upheaval after that, until I abandoned it in 1999. I’ve only recently returned to it, intent on writing a definitive grammar.
Q. How soon will the grammar be done?
A. Months from now. It's taken me since February just to get the phonology into order.
Q. What inspired you to create the language?
A. Mohawk (Kanien'kéha) and Cheyenne (Tsétsêhéstâhese) are its two major fountainheads; Wiyot and Miami were smaller influences.

Unfortunately, American Indian inspired conlangs are rare and rarely done well; however, here are some that I find particularly good:
