not4chan Grab Extension

A Firefox extension to help grab images on not4chan or similar image boards. Features:

• Saves files with their original names for boards that rename images but still display the original filenames. No other download software I know of does this.
• Renumber option renames files in sequential order for boards that don't store the original names.
• Adds a SAGE checkbox to thread reply forms.
• Hides grab menu item when not browsing a single thread.
• Works with Firefox 1.5.x/2.x (tested with 2.0.0.15), should also work with 3.x.

Tested with:

• 4chan (auto-rename)
• 7chan, iichan, kochan (renumber)

2008-07-11 Version 1.14: Fixed to work with Firefox 3.x (not tested).

Only install software from sources you trust.

To install, first get Firefox. Then download the extension not4chan-1.14.zip (Older versions 1.13, 1.12). Unzip it, then load the .xpi file with Firefox.

To use: Open a single image board thread by clicking on its Reply link. Right click and choose "not4chan Grab" in the menu. Grab menu item will be hidden until you open a single thread.

in firefox, go to Tools>Extensions. now just drag and drop the .xpi file to the little extensions windows, and it'll install. restart browser, and you'll see the option "not4chan grab" when you right click on a webpage.
