The Traditional Method In Landscape Moribana

Near View
Material:
Solomon's seal, aster, asparagus
Container: Round Suiban

Among the materials arranged in the Traditional Method in Landscape Moribana in spring, Solomon's seal is perhaps the easiest to use, and the method of arranging it is readily understood by beginning students.
In the example, a total of five stems as the Subject, the Secondary and the Filler stems are composed in the Upright Style.
Use the Filler stem between the Subject and the Secondary to connect the two principal stems. The Second Filler stem is in a supporting role at the side of the Subject. The third emerges low toward the front of the suiban.
Arrange the five stems skillfully to display the feeling of gregarious growth that is characteristic og Solomon's seal. Two asters are placed at the right side of the base of the Solomon's seal, and three are used for the Object and its Fillers stems.
The carpet of asparagus is laid flat and does not extend beyond the rim of the suiban. The area where the asparagus meets the surface of the water is of special importance and should be arranged as beautifully as possible.
