Files and Functions
The following files and functions are required to be installed on your PC and/or set up in your Forgotten Battles controls config and mapped accordingly to your keyboard/joystick before proceding with participation in squadron activites in uniform.
FILES
1)All pilots MUST aquire and read In Pursuit:An Online Pilot's Guide to Aerial Combat by John Kylander
and Neural Dream's Aircraft Reference Guide.
These two publications are key to not only understanding the flight models of Forgotten Battles Aircraft but also flight sim tactics and operations.
2) Communication software: Teamspeak primary - Obtainable from the Sturmovik Essentials link found on the LINKS page of the squadron site. Ventrilo as a backup- Obtainable from the PantherRoom once you are given admission.
3)MSN Messenger
4)RCU File.... This file allows you to set the distance at which icons appear and it also allows shortcuts to open the console within FB-also found in The Panther Room.
5)Most recent patches for Forgotten Battles which can also be obtained from Sturmovik Essentials.

19)Trim-Elevator & Rudder primarily... aileron if possible as well.

**Not required but recommended-occasionally disabled in missions.
Having the above files and functions downloaded, installed and working properly before hand will make the whole process of acclimation into the squadron a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Squadron members will assist you in setting all that up once you get the files.
ALL NEW MEMBERS ARE SUBJECT TO A 30 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD AT THE END OF WHICH, PROVIDING THEY ARE FULLY ACCLIMATED INTO THE SQUADRON THEY WILL RECIEVE THEIR OFFICIAL PERSONALIZED SQUADRON AIRCRAFT SKIN AND PILOTS UNIFORM.
