**This quest requires 2 players to complete. A guideline for each player is provided, but each player must only follow one and find another player who is doing the oppsosite.
Player 1- pheonix gang
To begin: talk to Reldo the librarian in varrock catsle. Ask him for a quest and he'll tell you to look for a book called the Book of Arrav. It is found in the Northwest-ern most book shelf in the library. Speak to Reldo again and then go to Baraek the fur trader in Varrock Square. Give him 20gp and he'll tell you where the Pheonix gang is located. Speak to the man in the hideout and tell him you know who he is. Ask him if you can join and he'll agree if you go to the Blue Moon Inn and kill Jonny the Beard. Take the scroll that will appear and bring it to the man. He'll give you a key and you can go inside. iIn the chest in the back of the hideout, you'll find half a shield.
**If you have followed the instructions above, than you DO NOT have to do the below instructions. Find another player who has and buy his/her other side of the shield.
Player 2- Black Arm gang
Talk to the tramp in the ally near the swordshop and ask him if he knows what's down the ally. He'll say it's the Black Arm gang hidout. Go down the ally into the building and talk to Katrine. She tells you that you can join if you bring her two pheonix crossbows. There is a respawn in the pheonix hidout, but you need to acquire a key from a pheonix member. You will be attacked by a lvl 25 when you pick up each crossbow. Bring her the crossbows, and she'll let you in. On the second floor in a cupboard.
**The following guidelines are only possible if you have found the other side of the shield and have both pieces.
The person with the shield must go to the Museum currator in North Varrock and he'll give you 2 certificates. Give one of them to the person who gave you half the shield and go to the king in Varrock Castle. Give him the certificate and get your reward.
Reward: 1 quest point and 600gp.
