Mining

Mining can be a very useful skill. When mixed with a good smithing level, mining can fork in some huge cash. Two hours of mining coal (the best selling ore in Runescape) earned me 200k per hour. This was with a level of 50 mining, without making certs. This can aslo be used to smith bars and make armour.

To mine, you must first have a pick axe. You can find these in the far store in the dwarven mines, or you can buy from another player. Like weapons, you can buy different varieties of pick axes, bronze being the worst, rune being the best. To mine a rock, you must simply click on it. Here are the levels required for each ore:
