| We had a great party on December 5th, 2002 at the West Liberty Retirement Community to celebrate the fall semester of Pen Pals! All semester Jane Boyd's 4th grade students have been exchanging letters with their RSVP volunteer Pen Pals at the West Liberty Retirement Community. After four months of writing letters they were finally able to meet. The students came and brought "pizza box portfolios" filled with picutres of their family, their favorite games, and other momentos from their life to shared with their Pen Pals. The students also brought their favorite cookies to share. Everyone had a great time making new friends.
