Fran was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. What brought her to West Liberty, Iowa forty-eight years ago? She came to visit her aunt and met her husband. She has been in West Liberty ever since!
Before her retirement, Fran was a stay-at-home mom, busy raising her four children. Now all of her children are married and she has 12 grandchildren to keep her busy! When Fran is not volunteering, you can find her traveling, reading, working on crossword puzzles or enjoying her grandchildren. Fran also works at the West Liberty senior meal site.
Fran is currently involved in the RSVP RIDE program. She loves to give back to the community and RSVP provides an opportunity for her to help people in her community. Through her volunteering experiences, Fran has found that you always get back more than you give! Thank you Fran for your hard work and caring attitude! |
