About RSVP
Improving Lives, Strengthening Communities, Making a Difference
What is RSVP?
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is a national, non-profit organization that is sponsored locally by Elder Services, Inc.  RSVP offers persons age 55 and over the opportunity to share the knowledge and skills they have acquired over a lifetime, by serving and strengthening their communities in a variety of volunteer assignments.

RSVP was established in 1971 as part of the Corporation for National and Community Service.  Recent statistics show that RSVP has nationally grown to over 450,000 volunteers who provided over 70 million hours of volunteer service last year - valued at more than $1 billion.
