| 1. Place a photo in the scanner 2. Click the shortcut to the HP scanner; click Scan (acquire) 3. When the scan is complete, click Accept. The image will appear in the photo section. Save to the network folder (folder with your name). |
| Digital Camera |
| 1. Remove the lens cap from the digital camera. Learn: Turn on/off the power; insert/eject the disk; preview/delete photos; floppy disk (FD) versus memory stick (MS); move files from MS to FD to network folder 2. Zoom in or out for the best picture (located on the front of the camera). 3. Press and hold slightly the button to take the photo. The memory stick gives the option of taking a larger quantity of photos or video. 4. Take two or three photos--one must include the use of zoom. 5. Eject the disk; put the disk in drive A of the computer; Save the file to your network folder |
| Use the computer with the scanner attached; log onto the network with your user name and password. 1. Go to Start and then Programs; Arc Soft Imaging; Photo Printer 2. At the bottom of the screen, click on double arrow to see the type of layouts: Landscape, Portrait or Mixed Layout. Select the Portrait Layout. 3. After making the selection, pick the single 8x10 variation. Select the Get Photos button on the upper left side of the screen. 4. Click the Acquire button on the top center of the screen. Select the scanner, click Scan. When the scan is complete, click Accept. The image will appear in the photo section. Save to the network folder. |
