is a play, based on the O'Henry short story, where a husband and wife are extremely poor and can't afford gifts for each other at Christmas. Their love is so strong, however, that the wife decides to sell her beautiful, long hair in exchange for a watch-chain that her husband had long admired. He, in turn, sells his watch in order to buy her a clasp for her long hair. Although this ironic set of circumstances appears (and is) tragic, what emerges out of everything is that the course of true love seldom runs smoothly. I played the husband.
