Brahma's Hair

is Mithran's adaptation of a selection from Maneka Gandhi's book of short stories into a series of 5 playlets. At first viewing these plays appear to be for children (as they have many slapstick pieces and surreal happenings.) However, as one gets more and more into the plays, one finds that they have been cleverly re-written by Mithran to give us a reflection of the state the world is coming to. The last speech by the Monkey King is quite an attack on those who pollute the world and those who would take advantage of nature. I played 5 roles in this offering, one of which was the Monkey King.
