Behold my creations. Now with new photos. Finally..
Bretonian
Grail Knight riding a Bronze (lightning) dragon. (Warhammer
Fantasy model) doesn't that model remind you
of someone?
An Imperial Guard
Command Unit dismount from a Chimera Troop Transport Tank. I like
chimera's because they can carry troops. while not as fast as a
falcon, they are better gunned than a rino or truck, sporting a
hull mounted heavy bolter and a turret mounted stormbolter. The
only problem is they draw fire like flies draw honey and they
have fairly weak armor so be cautious about senting them out
alone.

This is one of my newer works and perhaps my crowning
achievement in painting (so far). Imperial Guard comissar with
sword and power fist.
Tallarn heavy
weapon squad (Warhammer 40K models). Two autocannons teams and
one missle launcher team. Led by a comissar with an axe and a
hand flamer. Good for mass infantry assault squads, like the kind
that are so devistating to it. this is one squad I had to remove
from my army and change under the new rules.

Imperial Guard heavy weaponry at its finest. Leman Russ
Demolisher Tank (left) armed with front Lascannon, twin sponson
heavy plasma "Sungun" Cannons and the most powerfull
(albeit short ranged) Turret Mounted Ordinance class Demolisher
cannon. This bad boy is credited with taking out entire squads of
Gretchin, Terminatiors, Buildings (taking a choas veteran squad
down in the process), and sadly, itself. (under old rules if you
misfire there was a chance the weapon blew up on itself.)
On the right an Imperal sentinal armed with a multilaser. I've
been thinking about getting a couple of these because one by
itself doesn't do much other than draw fire.
Tallarn 78 the name of my Imperial guard army. They are
currently under reconstruction to comply with the new version of
warhammer 40K and the newly release IG codex, that I have yet the
funds to afford,I haven't been gaming much lately, but my army is
80% painted as off now. I have heard a lot of people say
"Imperial Guard Suck". No, imperial guard are hard to
master, and they require you to -Think- Under third edition rules
you can take lots of troops and still have points left over for
several Vehicle choises.other armies have tanks, but by the time
they have bought the required core of troops there points are
vastly deleted, compared to the guardsmen. I can lavisly fill out
my HQ and two troop choises for 250 points.

Orks: Run 'em down! Orcs don't get mob size checks vs tank shock (i think correct me if I'm wrong). bring lots of sustained fire like heavy bolters and auto cannons. Chasing them with chimera's and exterminatiors works well. Hit those trucks early. You can outshoot orcs, but they can outmanuvor and out fight you.
Marines. hit the devitator squads and anything else that has tank damaging potial. bring lots of ordinace becase lasguns only have about 25% chance of wounding a marine and far less of wounding a terminator. if you aren't playing a senario where you need to gain ground go on the defensive. I haven't had much experience fighting specialty marines under the new rules.
Chaos: Don't ask me, Choas always pounds me into the ground.
Eldar: Eldar are the variety hour of Warhammer 40k They can bring guardians and swam you (an increasingly popular technique), they have lots of stuff to blow up tanks. they can bring and army of really quick speeder bikes and flying tanks. Unless you happen to know what the player uses bring a good variety and be ready to think on your feet.
Dark Eldar: I've played Dark Eldar a few times, in some of the closest battles in my life. They don't have the flying tanks of their cousins (at least not heavy armored ones). They are, like you, relativly weak and large in number. They are fast and Furious made to do lots of damage in little time.
Tyranids: Autocannons and heavy bolters are the bug bashers best friend. They are an army that works best on hand to hand combat and the guard is an army that works best shooting. Bomb the Hive Tyrant and Carnifex models first. they hold the army together and will provide you with some quick victory points. Then shoot the units down to half strength. watch for gargoyles while not strong they are very quick and good at tying up your units while the big boys move in.
Sisters of Battle: I haven't played them under the new rules, but i'd treat them like i'd treat marines.
Necrons: Never played them.
