Limerick

Limericks are five-line poems that are almost always humorous.  The first two and the last line rhyme and are longer than the second two rhyming lines.  This poem usually tells a silly story.

Structure

A            There once was a kid in our grade
A            Who wanted to have a parade
B            He dressed up like a clown
B            And ran all over town
           What a funny sight it made!
