Our 1961 VW Beetle Page |
Before going to college, I got myself a dirt cheap Volkswagen Beetle. It looked like crap! I started restoration the summer of '97 and finished it around mid-1998. It cost me around P250,000.00!!! to fix everything. Mmmm... not cheap after all. Its a 1961 VW Beetle. I opted for 1967 front fenders and head lights since it had stronger lamps. One of the modification is a Sanden Aircondition due to the extreme heat here in the Philippines. A few months after, my brother got himself a 1958 VW Kharman Ghia. It's such a beautiful coupe. It started restoration two years ago and is still not finished due to parts problem. I was able to sell my 1961 VW Beetle in 2001. I hope you like these VWs! |
