| We are currently booking our performance company of dancers, singers, gospel rappers, poets, and actors AND touring our arts/media/entertainment workshops around the U. S. to churches, organizations, and schools. BOOKING INFO Dear Event Host, We are delighted in your interest in booking us for a speaking engagment, hosting a conference in your city, and a performance. We are always happy to serve our community and the body of Christ with innovative messages of hope, truth, and love through our unique ministry. We are pleased to announce that beginning in January 2008, you will be able to book us for host workshops, conferences, and performances. We look forward to speaking with you soon. Jennifer E. Black Executive Director/Founder QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER BEFORE HOSTING A WORKSHOP EVENT OR CONFERENCE THROUGH US For dance workshops only. Will your sanctuary or fellowship hall hold 50-100 "moving" people? If it is going to be in the sanctuary or fellowship hall, are some of the pews/chairs movable? Is your church less than 1 hour from the airport? Are the hotels less than 20 minutes away from the church? Ifs the church easy to find or access for those who will be driving? Do you have a small group of volunteers that would be willing to assist TEAMI before, during and after the event (set-up; clean-up; transportation, vendor table, etc.) Is your church within the continental United States? Those churches outside of US borders will need to discuss different arrangements with our Coordinator. COST TO HOST OR HOST CHURCH There is absolutely NO cost to the host church EXCEPT that which is offered or volunteered. It is appreciated if host will cover travel expenses (airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and meals), and an honorarium amounting to whatever you have budgeted for your event) OR take up offering. TRAVEL (For Speaking Engagements Only) We only request that host provide TWO Round Trip Airfare, train fare, or bus fare (for speaker Jennifer and her assistant), TWO hotel rooms, meals, and ground transportation. Please book all travel arrangements at www.HOLYwoodTravel.com A portion of the proceeds will go to The End Times Arts Movement International, Inc. (For Performance Group Travel) Host will need to provide at least hotel and meals. LODGING/MEALS If Jennifer is traveling alone, she is willing to stay with someone willing to house a minister/speaker in his/her home. This would either be the conference coordinator, or another responsible person (female) or people (couple or family) who attends hosts and who has a quiet room and doesn't mind preparing a light breakfast in the morning. If she is traveling with a group, she would prefer to stay in a hotel. If possible, we ask that the host pay for hotel stay. If host cannot afford to put us in a hotel, we would require to be paid to recover some costs with registration from participants. We will be willing to stay for host's Sunday morning service or leave Sunday morning whichever is best for the host. We would need a responsible volunteer(s) to transport us from home/hotel to venue. The performance team meals will need to be covered either by a team of volunteers or monetary payment. SET-UP We prefer to set-up the day BEFORE the event, so that we can be well-rested. The person who picks Jennifer and/or the performance team from the airport, bus or train station will need to take us by the venue IMMEDIATELY. The venue will need to be open and clean before our arrival to make the process more smoothly. We will need to do mic checks, audio checks, look at performance stage area, stage props, and set-up lights, if necessary. At that time, we will need a few volunteers to help set up about four or five 6'8' cafeteria-type tables for the product area. These should be in the same room where Jennifer will be teaching or performance team performing or at least near the entrance/exit heavy traffic is. We'll also need at need two tables for the sign in/registration area, wherever that may be, as well as one smaller table in the area where Jennifer will be teaching or group performing. This needs to be big enough for a boom box, notes, music, bottled water, video camera with tripod, etc. We would also need a long table with table skirts for panels discussion (when applicable). It would be nice if someone would volunteer to make some simple signs to direct the public to the conference area as well. CLEAN UP After the event is finished, clean up will to follow immediately (after the Saturday evening or afternoon event, whichever service you're requesting). We need as many volunteers as possible to put everything back the way it was found at the host church or venue. Jennifer and/or the performance team will also need helpers to put her/their belongings away (products, etc.). She and/or the team will more than likely be too exhausted to do it by themselves. We gladly appreciate your volunteers for their assistance. MUSIC Jennifer and her team will always bring their own music CD's for class and ministry time. Please provide the sound equipment with speakers and CD player. SOUND Jennifer prefers to have a "hands-free" microphone available the entire time (if available). A podium or a hand-held mic will be fine for speaking engagements. The performance team will need at least 4 mics if we are coming to sing or conduct a panel discussion. Please have the appropriate extra batteries available. We'll need a sound board operator if traveling with the team. If Jennifer is teaching a dance workshop, she doesn't mind having a boombox next to her so she can change the music when needed. LOVE OFFERING/DONATIONS A love offering will be appreciated for our performance team members as we will more than likely be paying for our transportation costs out of pocket. This will help us defray some costs. OTHER NEEDS Jennifer and/or performance team will need volunteers to be at the venue at least half an hour early to turn on heater or air conditioner, turn on lights, open doors, take care of late registrations, act as a stagehand backstage, and help wherever needed. Drivers will also be needed to escort Jennifer and/or performance team to local restaurants for lunch and/or dinner, and hotel. If Jennifer's assistant isn't traveling with her, she would need for a volunteer assistant to be provided for her and the performance team. No one should be allowed to move or remove our items. If items are lost, stolen, or damaged host agrees to cover the costs of such lost by someone other than a member of our team, if the person doesn't be honest enough to cover damages. We are a new and small organization. Much of the materials purchased for promotional purposes and resale were purchased by the founder from her own pockets. |
