Welcome!

This site is just an insight into the World of Mushrooms or Fungi whatever you wish to call them. My interest started as a child, when me and my father used to go on walks looking for common mushroom and blue buttons. Whilst on these walks I used to see lots of fungi which I did'nt recognise, so later on in life I endeavored to find out.

I find it very enjoyable heading out in to the woods and fields walking the dogs with the added interest of spotting the odd fungi or two. Especially in the autumn months when the fungi are most abundant. There's a certain thrill in finding and eating wild fungi, knowing that you are among a certain few who enjoy the world of mushroom magic.
