| Riverside Park
Summer Concerts 2009 Sunday, July 12 Sunday, August 2 Sunday, August 23 RAIN OR SHINE Friends and Neighbors, Bring the whole family, a blanket, and a picnic supper to Riverside Park for terrific FREE live music and the chance to support our park! Admission is free; proceeds from a 50/50 raffle and bake sale support Friends of Riverside Park and park improvements.CALL FOR SPONSORS AND PATRONS: Riverside Neighborhood Association and Friends of Riverside Park kindly ask our local business community, and families who can help, to support these concerts. This is a difficult year, but the concerts are part of what makes South Baltimore a unique and wonderful place to live. Our free concerts regularly attract more than 500 attendees. Event sponsors pledge $250-500 and will see their names and logos on all promotional materials and onstage signage, in 1,500 neighborhood newsletters, and in email announcements throughout downtown. Sponsors may distribute promotional brochures/literature via sponsor table (managed by sponsor�s representatives or FORP�s volunteers, at sponsor�s discretion). Event patrons pledge $50-100 and will have their names listed on our event fliers, and can take pride in helping ensure these concerts even in tough times! PLEASE NOTE: Checks can be made payable to PARKS & PEOPLE, the 501(c)(3) corporation that provides financial services for Friends of Riverside Park.
