If you think you are gay it may be something you feel you was born to be. This is not true, you are not born gay. It is true some people are born with a gender non- conformity, while there are some people that learn gender non-conformity. Any child can become gay. So you may not even have a gender non- conformity.
Sometimes a child can become atracted to the same gender for various reasons and then forget the choice once made. This can cause a person to think they may be born gay at an older age.
Definitions you should know;
Homosexuality:the act of sex between two of the same gender.
Gender Non-conformity:when a child shows or desires characteristics of the opposite gender it was born. This can include a child that wants to be the opposite gender as well. It is a seperate issue than homosexuality.
Transgender:when a person chooses to live the opposite gender than they was born(transexual).The person may or may not have chosen to be gay.
