Welcome to the Repairing section!!!
It is my first repairing of a bike, and, by the way, my first repairing
of something at all!
I used to have a 50cc scooter when I was 15 through 18, and each time
I tried to fix a problem or increase performances, I ended up with tons
of problems and damages, thus, at first, repairing the bike by myself sounded
like a very bad idea!!! :-)
But I was so angry with her, after the fuel pump's sudden death, that
I though "You betraied baby, I offered you all of my attention and love,
but you decided to go on your own on the dirty road of failure. Now, there's
a price to pay".
I was actually so angry with her (I treated her at my real best, didn't
even force her over 7000 to preserve her...) that, if she had a problem
with a piston of the cranskshaft, i could have teared down the engine by
myself and stripped it!
Luckily, it was only a simple problem of fuel pump, but this has taught
me an important lesson:
First, enjoy every single ride: shw won't last forever, better have
memories of good times instead of times of worry.
Second, learn how to work on her: money saving, but more important,
REAL satisfaction is enormeous...
So, take a look at the Moto Guzzi Team North Latina (in
honor of Dr. John! :-)
fixing up the beast!
Here I am! got REAL short hair, sort of Soldier Lorenzo! :-)
The beautiful Moto Guzzi North Latina Team! me and my my young cousin
Riccardo!
Our work led to this: a naked Aporia! But we were able to bring her
together working! :-)
