Better

Carol Shea-Porter is the new Congresswoman for the first congressional district of New Hampshire. She wants to help end the unnecessary war in Iraq and the huge budget deficits. She wants to help provide better citizen protection, a better environment and a more viable middle class. She wants better civil liberties and less spying on Americans. She wants a better economy for all not just for the very wealthy. She wants to raise the minimum wage. She wants to lower the poverty rate instead of raising it as the Bush people have done. She wants to invest in our children, families and seniors. She wants a budget that is financially sound and morally fair for all. She knows that education is the key to prosperity and it should be acessible to all. We need to make our schools better not doom many of them to failure. The no child left behind act is a failure and should be scrapped and replaced with a quality education for all children. The high cost of education is an abomination and must be lowered to give all a chance.
