Jim Webb is the Junior U.S. Senator Elect from Virginia. He wants a more rational and harmonious foreign policy, a more effective and efficient way of rebuilding and developing eroded and broken infrastructure, a fairer and more rational approach to race, class and economics and aligning the presidency and the congress more closely with our American Constitution. He believes our difficulties in Iraq and elsewhere were largely created by falsely linking Iraq with terrorism, by helping to create a war against Lebanon, by creating a murderous war against Iraq without hope of ending it because their occupation only makes everything worse in Iraq and by refusing to abandon our bases in Iraq which induce hatred of the USA in Iraq and in other Middle East countries. Jim Webb knows we need to create more economic and social fairness in the USA by morphing free trade into fair trade, by reversing tax cuts for the very rich, by having tax and school incentives for the middle class and by helping lift up the underclass. He knows that all Americans need and deserve to have quality health care and affordable prescription drugs.
