RINGS
There are lots of places to fight in. Here they all are.

On top of the Mario 64 Castle, there is lots of room to fight. Bullet Bills can fly into the arena, making explosions. If you get hit by the explosion you will be automatically KOd! Also you can set switches to make more platforms appear. Great arena for starters.
PEACH'S CASTLE

RAINBOW CRUISE
Again a arena from Mario 64 and also Mario Party, the characters begin the match on the flying ship. Eventually the ship will fall and you will have to fight throughout the level Rainbow Ride from Mario 64. Very challenging for an arena. The music reminds me of Disney World.

KONGO JUNGLE
This stage has a new version of the DK64 Rap song. It's much better also! Someone named Steve "Bang" Pang made it. Some of the platforms in this arena are small and easy to fall off of. At first I thought it was an upgrade of the Kongo Jungle in the N64 version, but this is new. This is sort of a stage for beginners.

JUNGLE JAPES
The same name as the level from Donkey Kong 64, this is a stage just in front of Cranky Kong's house. This is a tougher level than the one above. The background is awesome. Almost makes me wish I lived in the jungle. Klap Traps can appear and are likely to KO someone.

GREAT BAY
Not a very popular scene from Majora's Mask, but it is still a good arena to fight in. A moon falls and rises in the background. And the turtle island in the arena will sometimes sink, making it a smaller place to fight. Sometimes under the house, you can dunk your opponents into the water!

HYRULE TEMPLE
The largest arena in the game. If you go to the bottom platforms, you won't have to worry about being sent up. This is my favorite arena. You will fight Marth here when unlocking him.

This is an upgrade of the N64 Planet Zebes arena. Almost everything is the same. The platforms at the left & right can be sent at an angle if the red slime pillars by them are attacked. This is one of my favorite backgrounds in the game. It's almost like a giant cavern.
A small arena where a giant dinosaur named Kraid will comeout and sent the platform rotating. It can be very hard sometimes. Play VS Mode 50 times to get this arena.
Heading back to the 1990 SNES Super Mario World game, this place is another small arena. It is dangerous to stay in the middle of the arena since the yellow blocks can spin & make you fall down in the pit. It can be very easy to KO someone in this arena.
You might have heard the MP3 of an orchestra playing "Kirby Superstar" at a concert. Well the music here is similar. (http://www.classicgaming.com/kirby has this MP3.) This is one of the arenas that has no dangerous effects. It's very easy to be KOd. The background is one of the best.
The upgrade of the N64 Dreamland stage. But the N64 Dreamland stage is a hidden arena to unlock. This is bigger and has a few more features. Hitting the bomb blocks can cause exlposions, so beware. But if you're Fox, Falco, or any character with a projectile to shoot, you can hit the bomb blocks from a distance. Try hitting them when your opponent is near them to send your opponent flying!
You're flying at the top of Corneria skies. On the Great Fox. Arwings come by and shoot the characters sometimes and can almost never be dodged. There is a platform beneath the cockpit where there's a laser gun. If you hit it alot, the platform will break and you will fall out! This is actually an improved version of the N64 Sector Z arena.
There's a big difference between Venom and Corneria. It's amlost like you're on a new ship, but the Great Fox is at another angle. No effects can happen, just a platform where the characters fight. The ship flies through caves usually. Check out how high you are from the ground. It's an awesome background.
This actually a good arena for anyone, even anti-Pokemon people would like this stage. There's a TV that shows the current stats in a match and the current leader. The platform will change into different stages, like rock, fire, and grass. You can see that there is a huge crowd that came to see an SSB match! Kind of reminds me of the WWE.
If you're good at platform stages, you might win all the time here. Play VS mode 200 times to get here. You fight on different kinds of Pokemon platforms. There are places where you can fall very often though. The background is awesome. Overall, this is a good stage to fight.
This is one of my favorite stages. I own F-Zero X so I know this course. You're mostly on a platform that takes you through the Mute City course. And you go really fast! There are areas where you can get rammed by the F-Zero Racers. If Captain Falcon is fighting against someone in this stage, then who's driving his car?
Here's another favorite stage of mine. Play VS Mode 150 times to unlock. You start out fighting on Captain Falcon's flying ship. Then it takes off, and you now have to fight while standing on the F-Zero Racers! If you land on the track, you'll be sent fast to the left and get TKOd like it's a fast treadmill or something. I was glad I unlocked this course when I did back in March 2002.
Ness's course is at his hometown. You fight between two houses and by a Drug Store. Sometimes, cars will honk and then try to run someone over! In Adventure Mode, I hate it when you fight 3 Ness opponents, and they keep throwing Mr. Saturns at you.
Play VS Mode 100 time to get this awesome stage. This is a huge stage that looks like the downtown area of New York. You fight on the tallest building that Helicopters fly by at. UFOs may come too and can be used as platforms but are hard to walk on. I like smashing someone staright down a pit in this stage.
It's been about 15 years since the Ice Climbers have been seen and their stage is back as well. Does Icicle Mountain ever end? I don't think it does. Just like the Simpsons episode where Homer climbs a mountain. There are enemies as you go up or down. I like this course because the Freezie is one of my favorite items to use. If you go too high or too low off the stage, you get TKOd.
Good ol' Mushroom Kingdom is still in the SSB series. There's good news & bad news about this stage. Good news: You get to smash blocks and get items. Bad News: You can't go down pipes and no POW switches. But you still have memories at a course like this.
Unlock Luigi to get this course. This is another classic course from Super Mario Bros 2. There's the music, a Pidgit platform to ride on, and Birdos that shoot eggs at you in this stage. This is a small stage, so expect more KOs.
I recommend you fight at Green Greens, but this stage beings back the N64 days. With the classic music and graphics, this is a small course. Whispy Woods will blow wind at one direction to try to knock someone off the stage. Expect lots of Kirby-related items here.
This was a favorite stage of mine on the N64 version of SSB. There will be lots of eggs to throw here. This stage is supposed to be from Yoshi's Story, a really easy game on the N64. There are also cloud platforms on each side if you get sent flying and you might land on them.
Back to the N64 days when you go here. There is a barrell that shoots you back up to the ring when you fall under. There are also moving platforms from above. I love the music to this stage. Need I say more?
Another great place where the gravity is different and you are fighting in a place where I don't think it is from Earth. You'll also fight here when you take on the Polygon teams and the Metal Mario Bros.
This is my favorite arena to fight, even though it might be the last ring to unlock. I enjoy having deathmatches here. You will take on the Master Hand and Giga Bowser here. The background is incredible.
