| DONKEY KONG Moves Wind-Up Punch- First he gets the crowd wild by winding his arm! His opponent will get up slowly and be on their feet, dazed. His opponent turns to DK, still dazed. DK gives his opponent a Hook Punch and then unleashes the power of the Wind-Up Punch! DK always gives his opponent a Hook Punch before the big punch, just like how Austin kicks his opponent before the Stunner. Powerbomb- Just like the Powerbomb you see on TV. DK also does this move. But he lifts his opponent very quick and slams him very hard! DK's 2nd most powerful attack. Gorilla Press Slam- DK grabs his opponent and lifts him up! He holds him up for about 5 seconds as he slowly spins 360 degrees. At 360, he drops his opponent behind him and DK turns around to him. A move that only Donkey Kong can do. DK Combo- In SSB Melee on GCN, the damage must be at 0.5. When it is, DK uses his Ground Slap attack constantly at his opponent! At about the 10th hit, he then sends his opponent flying! This can do nearly 100% damage in SSB Melee. This attack is weak against lightweights but very effective against heavyweights. Lighweights can easily counter this attack. Superkick- It's just the same as Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music. But not as powerful. Razor's Edge- A new move that I made up for DK. I've noticed when he grabs his opponent and is about to throw his opponent, he has him in the Razor's Edge position. He does not do this as powerful as Scott Hall does though. DK rarely does his move. It has been seen at Summer Slamfest 2002 in his match VS Mewtwo. Taunts Entrence- DK's theme is a new version of the Donkey Kong 64 Rap Song (heard in SSB Melee). He comes out when the refrain starts. He stops at the top of the ramp and takes one look at his opponent. He walks down the ramp very slow. When he gets to the ring, he gets on each turnbuckle and raises one arm, just like how the Rock does. Arm Wind-Up- As described above, DK gets the crowd wild when he winds his arm up! It is the signal that the Wind-Up Punch is coming! Undertaker's Sit-Up- Remember how the Undertaker used to sit up right away after being knocked down? Well Donkey Kong can do this also. This is rarely seen from DK. He has gotten up from a few of his opponents' finishing moves. |
