| As of now, SSB Melee Wrestling is closed until January 2004. SSB Melee took 2003 off for show improvement to raise ratings, crowds, and better shows. There was a downfall in late 2002, which the fans were upset with the company. So in 2004, this will be the new features: The weekly shows will contain the higher ranked superstars and more title matches. Instead of it being like Sunday Night Heat and Velocity, the shows of Blackout and Shipwreck, (The SSB Melee weekly shows), will have main event-material superstars like Ganondorf, Bowser, Link wrestle every week! Therefore, it will be more like Raw and Smackdown. The shows will be much bigger, and can make rivalries bigger for PPV matches. Speaking of this, there will be a Blackout roster and a Shipwreck roster, just like Raw and Smackdown having their own rosters. The superstars with a championship belt can be on both shows. In the meantime, just wait until mid-January for the first show: New Year's Worst Nightmare, the January Pay Per View. |
