He served in army of Rev'n, in 2nd NY Regt. In 1790 he received 500 acres of land in Dryden Twp., NY, from the State of NY. He was a pensioner from 1818.

I have nothing definite, but it seems likely that Truman Loomis is descended from #341 Jacob Loomis and Dolly Hartman. In the 1860 census, Truman was in Port Huron, St. Clair, Mich one page away from Thankful Loomis, widow of Job Loomis. In 1850 they are neighbors in Port Huron.

Circumstantially, in 1840 Jacob was in China, St. Clair, Michigan with stats - 0-0-0-0-1-0-0-0-1/0-1-0-0-0-0-1 which would fit for Truman. Job was in Port Huron, St. Clair with stats 0-1-1-1-0-1/1-0-1-0-0-1. They seem to belong to this line because they both have descendants named Hartman.

Consider Jr. was in the same company as his brother John, serving from May 26 to Oct 23, 1758. He was also a private in the Revolutionary War, 18th Militia Regiment, Captain Samuel Hays Company, from August 22 to September 25, 1776, serving in New York. He enlisted in the connecticut Line, Colonel Samuel Wyllys, Champion's Company, enlisting March 3, 1778 for three years or the duration of the war, discharged April 18, 1782 for inability.Bowman Seaver records the first six children with the exception of Elizabeth. Seaver and Simsbury Soldiers list the birth of Elipalet in 1779. Weir listed the descendants of Eliphalet. Seaver listed Eliphant, Consider, Moses, Benjamin, and John G. III. Simsbury Soldiers list the following while Weir assigns them to son John G.: Isaac, Lucy, and Jane. All of the records except Simsbury Soldiers list Hannah.
The 1790 census of Granby listed 2 males 16 or over, 3 males younger than 16, and 5 females.
According to Stiles, she died at age 33.
