Roswell Newton & Abigail Loomis had children, including sons Roswell (Jr.) and Wayrum/Wayrun. The sons removed to Erie or Crawford Counties, Pennsylvania, by 1812. In 1836, Roswell (Jr?) sold 100 acres to Wayrum, in Crawford County.

In his will of 13 May 1811, made at Remsen, Oneida, NY, Benjamin names his wife, Lucy, and his son, "Salmon" as his executors. He also names his children, Sally Kent, Cynthia Haight, David Loomis, Benjamin Loomis, Jr., and Leonard Loomis.
