NOTE: The mother of the last two children is questionable because William & Cyrus would have been born when Dolly was over 50 years of age. While possible, it seems unlikely. The last two children may be from a second marriage or they may belong to his son, Jacob, Jr.
One LDS Ancestral File identifies Jacob's wife as Dolly HARTMAN b: 1724 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
A few sources report this woman's surname as Pinney.

From John Allaben: It appears that Hanna Loomis has been confused in various records. The death of a Widow Hannah Burr, is recorded in the Wintonbury Church records, but it is uncertain whose wife she was. Some researchers assume it was Nathaniel's wife; others that it was Noahdiah Burr's wife. The Marriage Record for Hanna Loomis and Nathaniel Burr has been located in the Wintonbury Church records [July 8, 1740- Vol 71, page 277, item 7). Her birth & death dates are in question.
On August 2, 1740 Hannah Loomis wife of Nathaniel Burr joined the Wintonbury Congregational Church; she transferred from the Windsor church.
3339. Isaiah Burr
Isaiah Burr, b 1745 is documented in the Wintonbury Church records as a son of a Nathaniel Burr & Hannah Loomis, and also in the Barbour Book. The church record for: Isaiah, child of Nathaniel Burr-Baptism: 8 Sept 1745-Vol 71, page 87, item 129- - -In this same Volume on page 277, item 7 is recorded the marriage of Nathaniel Burr to Hannah Loomis on 8 July 1740. Isaiah Burr's death is recorded:27 April 1779 in Vol 71, page 307, item 399. His marriage to Eunice Rowell is recorded: 10 May 1773 in Vol 71, page 281, item 192.
