Burnham, Thomas, Jr., Hartford. Invt. £324-15-00. Taken 20 May, 1726, by Matthew Grant and David Bissell. Will dated 11 February, 1725-6.
I, Thomas Burnham, Jr., of the Town of Hartford in the Colony of Connecticut, do ordain this my last will and testament: Item. I give to my son Thomas Burnham my dwelling house and barn and homelott or which they stand, lying and being within the Township of Hartford, as it butts on the east on land of Thomas and Samuel Burnham, south on land of Jonah Williams, west on land of Thomas Burnham, and north on the highway yt leads into the meadow and in part on lands of Thomas Burnham; and one piece of meadow land lying and being in the Township of Windsor, as it abutts west on land of Jno. Burnham and Jno. Anderson, south on land of Samuel Burnham, and north on Thomas Burnham his land; and also all my woodland or other lands whatsoever or wheresoever. Item. I give to my two daughters, Elizabeth and Esther Burnham, £25 apiece, and they to have all my moveable estate toward the payment of the same at inventory price after just debts are paid, the moveables to be equally divided between them; and my will is that what my moveable estate fall short of the sd. sum of £25 apiece my son Thomas Burnham shall pay to them in or as money when they attain to the, age of 20 years. And I appoint my hond. father-in-law, Mr. Jna. Strong, of the Town of Windsor, to be my executor.
