I was born on 4th October 1967 in Kolar. I
did my graduation in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Govt.
B.D.T.College of Engineering, Davangere(Mysore University) in 1988. I am
presently working as Senior Control Systems Engineer in the field of Machine
Tool Automation at CMTI, Bangalore. Photography has been my passion since my
College days. I started my Photography in 1984 with general and Pictorial
Photography. I started serious Photography after I joined Youth Photographic
Society, Bangalore in 1989. My love towards Birds made me to take up Bird
Photography seriously. I started capturing the Birds of southern India through
my Camera since 1993 in association with my friend M.Venkataswamappa. I
have been successful in my effort to capture the breeding habits of some of the
rare Birds of India. Yet, there are many and many more Birds to be captured in
my Camera. There is no end to this as the entire life span is not enough to
photograph all the Birds of India. I will share those pictures with you all. My
main inspiration behind these good pictures is the pictures of Krupakar and
Senani, who are well known Wildlife Photographers of Karnataka(my Native
State). I am grateful to all the members of my family for their extensive
support to pursue this great hobby. Since I had no formal training in
Photography/Birdwatching, whatever I have learnt is through the interaction
with senior Photographers/Birdwatchers, studying others' pictures and books.
My Family
I got married to Anitha on 5th June
1996(World Environment Day). She is an Instrumentation Engineer and works as a
Software Quality Assurance Engineer. We were blessed with a cute daughter on 3rd
July 1998. We have named her as Neha(the name which impressed me in 1985
when I heard it for the first time in an Hindi Movie). We have named our home
as Nest.
